The cover has an outer shell, and an inner stop and two side stops formed on an inner surface of the outer shell. When the cover pivots to cover the recess of the case body, the inner stop and the side stops prevent moisture and dust from entering the case body from a clearance formed between a pivot edge of the outer shell and the water collecting side surface of the case body.

The processing unit receives a network packet from a local host in the local private network through the first network interface unit, and encapsulates the network packet according to a public IP address of the remote routing device to generate an alternative packet. Then, the processing unit delivers the alternative packet to the Internet through the second network interface unit.

In these steps, transmission information of the network packet is read and a NAT mapping table is searched by using the transmission information. When a mapping entry corresponding to the transmission information is found in the NAT mapping table, the method involves enabling the forwarding engine module to update the header of the network packet according to the NAT forwarding information of the corresponding mapping entry and set a destination interface of the network packet.
