Abstract: The technical scope of the invention is that of sub-calibred projectiles comprising a calibred sabot formed of at least two segments and surrounding a sub-calibred penetrator. This projectile is characterized in that the sabot incorporates at least three substantially calibred support seats, axially spaced from one another. The distance between said two supports the furthest apart is greater than or equal to 3 calibers. At least one support seat, called median support seat, is formed by a push plate (PP) incorporating at least one groove to receive a band, said push plate axially located between said two other support seats.
Abstract: A sub-calibre projectile incorporating a penetrator and a sabot formed of several segments, the penetrator and sabot incorporating profiles that cooperate with one another so as to ensure the axial drive of the penetrator by the sabot when the projectile is being fired, such projectile wherein there is axial play (J) between the profile on the sabot and that on the penetrator so as to enable a limited relative axial displacement of the sabot with respect to the penetrator, means being provided to ensure the radial locking of the sabot segments by the penetrator in the foremost position of the sabot with respect to the penetrator, this locking no longer being ensured in the rearmost position of the sabot with respect to the penetrator.
Abstract: The invention relates to a dilution and dispersion device for the exhaust and/or cooling gases of a vehicle's engine, that incorporates blades and a hub. The hub of said device incorporates means intended to reduce the loss in the gaseous flow rate generated by said gases. The flow rate loss reduction means are constituted by one or several openings in said hub or by a profiled element allowing said gases to be defected towards said blades. Abstract: A method of projectile control provides a control order for an organ allowing the yaw piloting of a spinning projectile. The control order causes a modification of a yaw piloting parameter of the projectile, the parameter that needs to be controlled being fin deflection. The angular rate of roll of the projectile is measured. At least one corrective coupling term is introduced into the evaluation of the control order modifying the yaw piloting parameter. The corrective coupling term is proportional to the angular rate of roll and also to the drift over time of the pitch piloting parameter to provide projectile piloting orders control fin motors.

Abstract: A device to recuperate the energy produced during the recoiling of a weapon provided with a hydraulic fluid power circuit, wherein said device comprises an energy recuperating cylinder activated by the recoil of said weapon, a double-acting cylinder comprising two chambers separated by a piston, a first chamber of said cylinder being connected to said hydraulic power circuit of said weapon, said piston of said cylinder pushing said hydraulic fluid in said circuit into a storage accumulator when said weapon recoils. The energy recuperating cylinder comprises a second chamber connected to a recoil mechanism that ensures pressurising of said mechanism.
Abstract: The invention relates to a sabot for fin-stabilized ammunition composed of segments assembled around a sub-calibrated penetrator. The sabot is characterized in that it includes at least three longitudinal bars of a substantially constant width, each having indentations co-operating with an external profile of the penetrator to allow it to be driven, as well as a calibrated thrust plate integral with the bars.

Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic loading process and system for a large-caliber weapon mounted on a ship and firing ammunition, constituted by charges and projectiles, at a high rate of fire.
