Abstract: The invention relates to safety priming device for an explosive charge, notably a shaped charge, comprising a pyrotechnic igniter and at least one igniting relay placed between the igniter and an explosive load.
This priming device is characterized in that the igniting relay comprises means enabling the detonation wave produced by the igniter or igniters to be re-centered along the charge axis, said means comprising a confinement block having a bore converging between an external face positioned beside the igniter or igniters and an inner face positioned beside the explosive load, said bore filled with a relay explosive, the confinement block comprising means to prevent the propagation of a shock wave axially through the confinement block between the igniter or igniters and the explosive load.
Abstract: The invention relates to a sabot for fin-stabilized ammunition composed of segments assembled around a sub-calibrated penetrator. The sabot is characterized in that it comprises at least three longitudinal bars of a substantially constant width, each having indentations cooperating with an external profile of the penetrator to allow it to be driven, as well as a calibrated thrust plate integral with the bars.

Abstract: The invention concerns a device for the embrittlement of a motor vehicle pedal pivot pin, characterized in that the pin comprises at least a starting point of fracture and reinforcing means arranged at the starting point of fracture for increasing the pin resistance, the reinforcing means being capable of moving by action of motoring means to be positioned at some distance from the starting point of fracture thereby ensuring that the pin is embrittled.
Abstract: The invention relates to a loading device for a medium or large caliber weapon supplied with rounds constituted by a projectile and modular charges.
It comprises means to receive a projectile and modular charges, a vehicle incorporating at least two housings and suitable support means to allow the vehicle to move from a starting replenishing position to a final weapon loading position in which the projectile housing then the modular charge housing are successively brought into said position. The support means are constituted by a cage having two sides between which the vehicle travels. The vehicle is constituted by a slide and a drum provided with housings at its parallel edges each intended to receive a container.
Application of 155 mm 52 caliber weapons.
Abstract: A projectile for being propelled along a trajectory by propellant gases inside a launcher tube, the projectile including a casing, first pressure means for first pressurizing the casing without exploding the casing during firing of the projectile, and second pressure means for second pressurizing and exploding the casing, wherein the first pressure means includes part of propellant gases inside a launcher tube used to propel the projectile, or alternatively, gases generated by the first pressure means.
Abstract: The invention relates to a primer tube (1), notably for the propellant charge (4) of artillery ammunition (2).
The primer tube (1) is formed of a tubular body (8) accommodating a priming composition (14). It is characterized in that the tubular body (8) incorporates at least one receiving surface (25) oriented so as to receive the propellant gas pressure generated when the propellant charge (4) is ignited, said gas acting to propel the primer tube (1).
The pressure receiving surface (25) is a disk (20) arranged substantially radially to the tubular body (8).
Abstract: A pyrotechnic igniter for adaptation to a specific gas generator or pyromechanism, the igniter including at least one pyrotechnic composition located inside a cartridge composed of a case extended by at least two pins. The cartridge is located in a casing including at least an upper shell joined to a lower shell, the upper shell containing the cartridge and the lower shell having at least two protruding electrodes internally connected an internal circuit and to the pins.
Abstract: A system and method for generating acoustic and seismic signals to clear mines equipped with acoustic and/or seismic sensors includes at least one drum driven rotationally by a drive to which drum at least one weight is attached by a fastening device positioning the at least one weight at a distance from drum, the weight being intended to strike the ground periodically as the drum rotates in order to generate an acoustic and seismic signal whose period is the same as that of the striking period of the weight.
