  • Patent number: 12283687
Abstract: A method for fabricating wide and continuous double-sided lithium metal anodes includes thermally evaporating lithium to form first and second continuous lithium layers on respective first and second continuous polymer substrates, so as to form respective first and second continuous lithium/polymer sheets. The first and second continuous lithium/polymer sheets are laminated onto respective top and bottom surfaces of a continuous metallic substrate, which may be made of copper, with the first and second continuous lithium layers being disposed in direct contact with the respective top and bottom surfaces to form a continuous polymer/lithium/metal/lithium/polymer structure. The first and second continuous polymer substrates are then removed from the continuous polymer/lithium/metal/lithium/polymer structure to provide a continuous lithium/metal/lithium anode structure.

  • Patent number: 12278892
Abstract: A method and system for public key infrastructure (PKI) in software defined vehicles enables secure communication between electronic components. The method includes establishing trust between multiple electronic components through a certificate history comprising signed public keys stored on each component. Once trust is established through attestation between components, the method utilizes signed Diffie-Hellman key exchange to securely distribute symmetric keys to the trusted components. These symmetric keys enable authenticated communication between the components to control vehicle systems and functions. The system operates locally without requiring internet connectivity or specialized service tools, allowing for secure field replacement and upgrading of components while maintaining system security through verification of component authenticity and prevention of counterfeit hardware.

  • Publication number: 20250119714
Abstract: A method includes transmitting a first wireless communication from a user device via an authorized first cellular network. The first wireless communication includes a current geographic location of the user device. The user device maintains a forbidden list identifying unauthorized cellular networks. Based on determining that the user device is approaching a geofence between a first network coverage area of the first cellular network and a second network coverage area of a second cellular network that is identified on the forbidden list, the method includes removing the second cellular network from the forbidden list. With the second cellular network removed from the forbidden list and based on the user device entering the second network coverage area, the method includes transmitting a second wireless communication from the user device via the second cellular network that includes an updated geographic location of the user device.
