Abstract: In an apparatus at a spinning preparation machine, wherein a clothed roller is located opposite at least one clothed component, there is associated with the component, in contact therewith, a piezoelectric sensor which is connected to an electrical evaluation device in communication with a display device and/or switching device. In order, by simple means to make it possible to ascertain the carding intensity, the piezoelectric sensor is a structure-borne sound sensor and the electrical evaluation device is capable of determining the carding intensity from the structure-borne sound.
Abstract: A high performance full spade rudder for ships includes a rudder blade, a rudder trunk and a rudder post. The rudder blade widens from the leading edge to a central area which constitutes the widest point of the rudder profile. The rudder blade profile tapers from the central area to a narrow rear area and widens again from the rear area to the trailing edge. A bearing is placed in an inner longitudinal bore of the rudder trunk for bearing the rudder post, wherein the bearing penetrates with its free end into a recess, taper or the like in the rudder blade. No bearing is provided between the rudder blade and the rudder trunk. The bearing for the rudder post is placed in the rudder trunk in the area of the free end of the rudder trunk.

The pull rod is carried by two support rods which are guided so that they can move vertically within the door body. At the bottom end of each support rod, a cable is attached, which runs either to a spring motor or to a cable pulley.
Abstract: A nozzle is used with a mold formed with a rearwardly open recess having an apex at which opens a gate orifice. The nozzle has a body rearwardly closing the recess. The body is centered on an axis aligned with the orifice and formed with an axially extending central passage adapted to receive a hot melt. The body has a tip spacedly received in the recess and itself formed with at least one radially throughgoing branch passage extending from the central passage and opening into the recess at a location spaced as far as possible from the gate orifice. The tip also is formed with a throughgoing bore axially aligned with the gate orifice. A nozzle pin is axially shiftable in the body by an actuator between an extended position projecting from the bore and fitting into and blocking the gate orifice and a retracted position unblocking the orifice.
Abstract: In a hinge-lid box comprising a box part (13), lid and collar (15), the collar (15) is configured such that the collar side tabs (29, 30) lie at a distance from the box side walls (26). The collar side tabs (29, 30) are supported by supporting tabs (35, 36; 40, 41) on the box side walls (26).
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for welding two welding parts (1, 3) by means of a fillet weld (11), wherein a first welding part (1), with a bearing surface at least in an edge area of an edge that is to be welded by means of a fillet weld, is brought into contact with a bearing surface of a welding part (3) and the welding energy (5) is supplied in an energy supply area during the welding process, exclusive of a surface (7) of the first welding part facing away from the bearing surface, said energy supply area being located at a predetermined distance from the edge of the first welding part. The welding energy is supplied in a direction, whereby the direction component thereof points perpendicular to the course of the fillet weld that is to be produced in the direction of an inner area of the first welding part, forming a welding angle of less than 90° with the contact plane of the bearing surfaces of the first and second welding parts.

Abstract: In an angle drilling device for introducing or expanding wellbores that are inclined in relation to the horizontal, an angle-adjustable bore rig for a movable feed drive is arranged on a base frame that is movable for example. The bore rig is pivotally connected with the base frame while a connection, for example a link bar, extends between the feed drive and the base frame and has a constant length to effect during travel of the feed drive a change in incline of the bore rig as a consequence of the distance between both pivot points for the bore rig and the point of articulation of the connection.
Abstract: A device for parallel-serial conversion of several evaluation parameters determined respectively by a detector from detected signal values. The device includes a primary buffer memory for the synchronized buffering of each determined evaluation parameter, a synchronization unit for the generation of a synchronization signal for the synchronized buffering and a unit for the serial readout of the evaluation parameters stored in a synchronized manner in the primary buffer memory. A synchronization signal generated by the synchronization unit is derived from a release signal which provides the highest data rate of all the release signals associated respectively with the determined evaluation parameters.

The hydrodynamic retarder having at least one rotor blade wheel and a stator. The rotor blade wheel is connected via a high gear with the transmission output. The high gear is a component of the reverse gear.
Abstract: In order to realize the electric contacting of two parallel printed boards, the invention proposes a printed board connector that features coaxial plug modules realized in the form of pin and socket contacts. For this purpose, it is proposed that the two plug modules have such a design that they can be turned and tilted about their central mating axis within a certain range on the printed board in order to compensate misalignments or deviations between the positions of the printed boards relative to one another. It is furthermore proposed to realize certain distances between the printed boards by means of plug modules of different lengths on the pin side.

Abstract: In a known method for the production of a blank mold for optical fibers, a fluorine-doped SiO2 enveloping glass is produced on a core glass cylinder that rotates about its longitudinal axis, wherein a silicon-containing starting substance is fed to a plasma burner, said substance is then oxidized in a plasma flame assigned to the plasma burner to obtain SiO2 particles, the SiO2 particles are deposited by layers on the enveloping surface of the cylinder of the core glass cylinder in the presence of fluorine and sintered into the enveloping glass. The invention aims at providing an economical method, which builds upon the above-mentioned method, in order to produce a blank mold from which optical multi-mode fibers (52) can be obtained.
