Abstract: A cooling or freezing apparatus comprising a housing containing a transport for moving, in a vertical direction, carriers for the goods to be cooled or frozen in the apparatus the carriers arranged one above the other, wherein the transport being arranged at the bottom of the housing and comprising two transport devices, each of which consists of a plurality of mutually parallel support rails arranged as generatrices of an imaginary cylinder and being rotatable about the axis of the cylinder, the two transport devices being arranged along the sides of the housing opposite each other and being connected to a drive for rotating the oppositely arranged transport devices about the axis thereof in mutually opposite directions, each of the carriers for the goods being provided with a support along the sides of the carriers, the height of the support being less than the spacing between two adjacent support rails of a transport device.

Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing granular material having a tendency to form lumps, comprising a container at the bottom of which an outlet opening is provided, one or more wings being provided at the bottom and being movable in such a way that the lower surface of the wings may sweep over the bottom at least at the area of the outlet opening, and a guide baffle being arranged in the container over the path of movement of the wing or the wings, the guide baffle being constructed so as to form together with the bottom of the container a space which converges in the direction towards the opening.

Abstract: A rotary gear pump comprising two excentrically arranged gear wheels of different sizes, of which the greater gear wheel is rotatably mounted in the generally cylindrical housing of the pump and the smaller gear wheel is mounted upon a shaft which is arranged excentrically in the housing of the pump in such a way that the teeth of the two gear wheels, in the working condition of the pump, are mutually engaged along an area of the inner circumference of the housing of the pump between the outlet of the pump and the inlet of the pump, and are arranged with an interspace between the top circles of the teeth along another part of the circumferences of the wheels, a blocking member being arranged in the interspace with one surface of the blocking member sealing against teeth of the smaller gear wheel and with another surface of the blocking member sealing against teeth of the greater gear wheel, wherein the shaft and the blocking member are mounted rotatably in the housing about the axis of the greater gear wheel

Abstract: A contact freezing apparatus comprising a plurality of freezing plates arranged with mutual distance for forming freezing spaces for accomodating the material to be frozen, the freezing plates being movable away from each other for removing the frozen material by means of an emptying device, the freezing spaces being limited in the downward direction and laterally by projections secured to the freezing plates, the emptying device comprising a plurality of combs corresponding to the number of freezing spaces, the combs comprising teeth and being movable from a position wherein said teeth extend into the freezing spaces from the upper ends of the freezing spaces and to a position above the freezing spaces.
