Abstract: A level having a frame with an edge rail and a web extending from the edge rail at right angles. A web opening is provided in the web. A capsule assembly is mounted on the web at the web opening. The capsule assembly has a transparent capsule having a liquid therein and outer cover plates mounted over the capsule on each side of the web. The volume of the liquid in the capsule is less then the volume of the interior of the capsule so that an upper surface of the liquid is formed in the entire surface of which is viewable through the transparent capsule.
Abstract: A utility knife having a handle and a blade holder which is pivotally mounted on the handle for movement from an unfolded position to a folded position. The handle has a space adapted to receive the blade holder when the blade holder is in its folded position. The blade holder includes a main wall and guard wall pivotally mounted on the main wall to pivot from an open position to a closed position overlying the main wall. The main wall being adapted to hold a blade so that a blade is interposed between the main wall and guard wall when the guard wall is in its closed position.
Abstract: A flashlight having a handle and a head pivotally mounted on the handle. A bulb within the head and a battery within the handle in electrical circuit with a bulb in the head. The handle having an upstanding ear and the head having an extending arm. An opening in the upstanding ear and an opening in the arm, pivot means mounted in the openings so that the head can pivot relative to the ear and the handle.
Abstract: A vial having an outer wall which is straight and cylindrical and a curved inner cavity. The inner cavity is curved in a substantially uniform arc. The apex of the curved cavity is closer to the cylindrical outer wall of the vial than the ends of the inner cavity. The inner cavity is substantially uniform in cross section throughout its length.
Abstract: A flashlight having a handle and a head pivotally mounted on the handle, a bulb within the head, and a battery within the head. An electrical circuit between a battery and the bulb so that the bulb can be turned on and off. The handle has a pair of spaced upstanding ears and the head has opposed sides and is pivotally mounted between the upstanding ears. Openings in the ears and in the opposed sides of the head to receive pivots so that the head can pivot relative to the upstanding ears and the handle. The circuitry includes electrical head contacts on the head and electrical ear contacts on the ears in electrical circuit with each other. The electrical ear contacts and the head electrical contacts means being adjacent to the openings in the ears and the head.
Abstract: A multi-tool having a pair of jaws pivotally mounted to each other. Each jaw has a grip head and rear extension. A hollow handle pivotally mounted on each of the rear extensions. Each hollow handle has a rear end and a front end and is pivotally mounted to rear extension at its front end. The jaws being pivotally foldable relative to the handles from a folded position to an unfolded position. A flashlight is pivotally mounted on one of the hollow handles and is pivotally movable from a closed position within the hollow handle to an open position outside of the hollow handle, a plurality of auxiliary tools mounted on a pivot at the rear end of the other hollow handle and moveable from a closed position within the hollow handle to an open position outside the hollow handle.
Abstract: A ratchet driver having a ratchet control assembly and a driver assembly rotatable relative to the ratchet control assembly. A ratchet sleeve operatively connected to the driver assembly and having inwardly facing first and second control openings. The ratchet control assembly having first and second slots, having first and second stop slides, respectively, mounted therein. Moving mechanism to move the stop slides within the first and second control openings, respectively, stop slide control mechanism movable to a position to move said first stop slide out of the first control opening and allow the second stop slide to be in the second control opening and to move stop slide control means to a position to move the second stop slide out of the second control opening and allow the first stop slide to be in the first control opening, and to move the stop slide control means to a position to allow the first and second stop slides to be in the first and second control openings.
Abstract: The foldable driver tool having a handle with an outer wall and a plurality of pockets in the outer wall with each pocket adapted to receive a driver. The driver has a bit portion, a shaft portion and a rear portion. The handle has a head assembly at one end which is made up of a plurality of spaced extensions extending from the outer wall. The spaced extensions form spaces therebetween which are coextensive with the pockets. A front cap having a front wall and a skirt extending rearwardly therefrom is mounted over the head assembly so that the skirt overlies the spaced extensions. A slot is provided in the front wall and an opening is provided in the skirt with the two being coextensive with each other.

Abstract: A utility knife having a handle and a blade holder movably mounted on the handle for movement from an unfolded position to a folded position. The handle has a space adapted to receive the blade holder when the blade holder is in its folded position. The blade holder has a blade holder mechanism thereon and a finger support. The handle also has a blade storage compartment.
