  • Patent number: 11601574
Abstract: Provided herein is an image focusing adjustment method, system, and module. A first image of a reference object is received in response to an input signal when the image focusing adjustment module is operating in a first state. The first image of the reference object is analyzed, based on which a plurality of adjustments to the image focusing adjustment module is controlled. The plurality of adjustments, performed by a plurality of actuators controlled by control module, include rotating a lens barrel assembly relative to a neck member along a first axis that causes a translational adjustment of the lens barrel assembly, rotating the neck member relative to a top member around the first axis that causes a rotational adjustment of the lens barrel assembly, and positioning a tilt adjustment member that causes tilt adjustment of the top member relative to a frame member along a second axis.

  • Patent number: 11593591
Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods for executing optical character recognition faster than at least some traditional OCR systems, without sacrificing recognition accuracy. Towards this end, various exemplary embodiments involve the use of a bounding box and a grid-based template to identify certain unique aspects of each of various characters and/or numerals. For example, in one embodiment, the grid-based template can be used to recognize a numeral and/or a character based on a difference in centerline height between the numeral and the character when a monospaced font is used. In another exemplary embodiment, the grid-based template can be used to recognize an individual digit among a plurality of digits based on certain parts of the individual digit being uniquely located in specific portions of the grid-based template.

  • Patent number: 11587387
Abstract: In one exemplary embodiment in accordance with the disclosure, an image processing system is configured to use a distance authentication template to execute a detection procedure that detects at least one non-linear distortion in a subject image. The distance authentication template can be generated by mapping a set of spatial coordinates of three features in a distortion-free image to a set of pixel coordinates of the three features in the distortion-free image. Addressing a non-linear distortion in the subject image can include performing remedial actions to remedy the non-linear distortion, or taking into consideration the non-linear distortion when using the distance authentication template to identify one or more features in the subject image.

  • Patent number: 11580493
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include apparatuses, computer-implemented methods, and computer program products for automatic product verification and shelf product gap analysis. Some embodiments utilize a multi-imager imaging engine to capture at least two image data objects associated with at least a near field and a far field via corresponding near and far-field imagers. The far field image data object in some embodiments is processed to identify, and/or detect and decode, product information on a product label at a shelving location for future processing. The near-field image data object may be processed to identify a product set located within the environment surrounding the product label. The information identified from each image data object may be processed to identify whether one or more product mismatches, pricing mismatches, and/or product gaps are present at the shelving location, with improved likelihood of success for each task.

  • Patent number: 11570287
Abstract: The present invention provides a locking mechanism in a mobile terminal and a method of manufacturing the same. The locking mechanism comprises a slider, latch, button, and spring. The slider and latch include openings and may translate between a locked position and an unlocked position. The latch may include a protrusion that limits the translation of the slider and the latch when in the locked position. The button is located within the opening of the slider and the opening of the latch, and the spring member is fixed adjacent the latch. In an instance in which an external force is applied to the button, the external force deforms the spring member such that contact between a vertical edge of the protrusion and the spring is precluded allowing translation of the slider and the latch between the locked position and the unlocked position.
