Abstract: An apparatus for supporting a laundry hamper is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a supporting rod having one or more sides arranged to form a closed frame, one or more mounting brackets, and means for securing the one or more mounting brackets to a door of a cabinet, such as a tilt-out cabinet. Aspects of the invention relate to a laundry hamper assembly comprising the apparatus and at least one laundry hamper being supported thereon.
Abstract: A door lock system includes a toolless handing assembly that selectively sets a handle in a left or right home position. The handing assembly may cooperate with a disc and a spring that biases the disc to a default position. The disc may be rotated in a first direction to set the disc in a first home position. A catch may engage the disc to retain the disc in the first home position. The catch may be released to return the disc to the default position and the disc may be rotated in a second direction to set the disc in a second home position, opposite the first home position.

Abstract: A door lock system may include an outer spindle operatively connected to a disc with a larger diameter than a diameter of the outer spindle. The disc may include an opening that slidingly receives a lock spindle along a lock axis configured to engage a lock body. The lock spindle and the spindle opening may have complementary shapes and sizes such that the lock spindle is rotationally coupled to the disc about the center axis. Torque may be transmitted from a handle to the disc and from the disc to the lock spindle via the opening.

Abstract: A door exit device may include a light source for indicating a status of the exit device. The light source may be capable of providing a first indication denoting that the exit device is in a first state (e.g., a dogged state) and a second indication denoting that the exit device is in a second state (e.g., an undogged state). Further, the exit device may include first and second parallel control systems capable of electronically controlling that status of the exit device. In some instances, a first parallel control system may supersede a second parallel control system.

Abstract: A method for producing an air duct damper includes the steps of punching from sheet metal stock a damper preform having a body and two diametrically opposed arms extending from opposite sides of the body; and forming an indentation in the damper preform extending between and up to respective ends of the two arms.
Abstract: Disclosed is a connecting buckle with a return device, including an upper cover and a lower cover disposed correspondingly, where a buckled cavity is formed between the upper cover and the lower cover, a rotating shaft, a locking device and a return device are disposed in the buckled cavity. The locking device includes an upper locking tongue and a lower locking tongue. A locking spring is disposed at the bottom of the buckled cavity, and the return device includes an upper return tongue and a lower return tongue, the upper return tongue is hinged to the lower locking tongue, the lower return tongue is hinged to the upper locking tongue, and the upper return tongue and the lower return tongue are hinged to each other. The connecting buckle with the return device has the advantages of convenience in locking and unlocking, relatively good safety and stability, and good versatility.
Abstract: A powered vanity system with a power outlet positioned on the bottom of a drawer box adjacent a face plate with an optical trigger that prevents the flow of electricity to the power outlet when the drawer box is in a closed position and allows the flow of electricity to the power outlet when the drawer box is in an open position. A cable manager controls the power cord as the drawer box moves between open and closed positions. The drawer box is easily removable from the cabinet carcass and provides for a novel convenience lighting system.

Abstract: A sliding door closure system is provided including close and energy harvesting to recover kinetic energy from the motion of the door. According to some embodiments, the relative motion between a sliding door and sliding door track may be configured to drive a generator. The generator may be driven by a driving a wheel rotationally connected to the generator. Examples include driving the generator by a friction wheel, by a chain and sprocket, or by a gear and rack. The generator may recover kinetic energy from the motion of the door during the deceleration of the soft close function. Energy recovered from the door may be stored and used to assist the motion of the door or to operate sensors to monitor the operation of the door closure system. The door closure system may transmit data and preserve a record of use.
