  • Patent number: 3953814
Abstract: The relay has an U-shaped and E-shaped yoke member with an interconnecting permanent magnet. An U-shaped armature rocks between the yoke members and is held by springs between them. The springs are attached with one end each to the E yoke member; in order to prevent sliding of the armature or yoke parts on changing position, the springs are constructed to permit resilient length compensation and are attached with the other end to the armature beyond a temporary fulcrum on the U yoke member.

  • Patent number: 3937962
Abstract: A two infrared beam gas analyzer, with sample and reference paths and radiation chopper has two absorption cells as detectors wherein the pressures are compared in a first diaphragm capacitor and the sum with parameter modification by operation of pneumatic inpedances is formed in a second diaphragm capacitor. The ratio of the two capacitor outputs constitutes the output of the system. A compact unitary construction is described in detail including the detector chambers and one capacitor in a body serving as mounting element for the second capacitor with a frit like element interposed as pneumatic inpedances and rotational adjustment of that second capacitor as a whole results in parameter adjustment.

  • Patent number: 3932041
Abstract: A cylindrical block is provided with two ducts, forming a V whose legs terminate in exit windows in one axial end face of the block. A light source is disposed in the bottom of the V to direct light into both ducts. The block is further traversed by a bore, terminating as to one end in between the windows, avoiding the ducts and terminating in an offset position relative to the V-bottom and the light source at the other end of the block. A shaft traverses this bore for rotating a shutter in front of the windows. A complementary, light receiving unit is disposed with misaligned entrance windows in front of the unit windows, but their centers are traversed respectively by the optical axes of the ducts.
