Abstract: Decorative wiper having a first end and a second end. The first end, which is adapted to be placed at the opening or upper end of a cosmetic bottle, has an opening with a decorative design. The second end, which is adapted to sit farther within the cosmetic bottle, has a narrowed opening in a manner typical of cosmetic wipers to a generally circular profile. Between the first end and the second end is a lumen or passage through which the cosmetic applicator may pass. The second end serves to wipe away excess product, in a manner similar to conventional wipers. The first end provides an aesthetically pleasing, or brand-defining useful, design. Between the two ends the interior walls of the wiper define the lumen or passage by tapering outward from the first end wiper to the second end. Combinations of such wipers with cosmetic bottles, caps, applicators and products are disclosed as well.

Abstract: Compacts designed to hold a product and having a lid, and upper housing portion, and a lower housing portion. The upper housing portion and the lower housing portion are twistable relative to one another, with the lid secured to the upper housing portion and twisting therewith. The lid and lower housing portion comprise engaging structures to secure the lid in a closed position when the respective engaging structures are aligned with one another. When the upper housing portion and lid are twisted relative to the lower housing portion, the lid is free to open upon reaching a sufficient amount of twisting movement.

Abstract: Applicators for use in retrieving product (generally a liquid) from a reservoir, with an applicator for entry to the reservoir coupled to a cap. The cap is configured to be selectively actuated by including a squeezable element. Unlike “bulb” based devices having a cap in the common form of a bulb, a more modern look is created with a cylindrical or other cap shape. The cylindrical cap in one example has generally rigid sides with a squeezable or depressible element having an accordion-type design. The accordion-type design may be hidden from a user. In another example the cylindrical cap has a rigid top surface and is squeezable from its sides. In yet another example, the cylindrical cap is flexible on its sides and top, but does not have the commonly known bulb-shape. The applicator may be, for example, a diptube, a doefoot applicator, a sponge, a plastic, a brush, or any other suitable applicator for cosmetics.

Abstract: A dispenser includes a depressible thermal tip and a housing having a reservoir for containing a product, such as a cosmetic product or a medicinal product. The depressible thermal tip comprises a thermal applicator displaceable between open and closed positions. The thermal applicator may be depressibly coupled in a collar fixed to the housing, or the thermal applicator may be depressibly coupled in a button depressibly coupled in a collar fixed to the housing.

Abstract: A cosmetic implement includes a handle with an applicator coupled to a handle and a detachable receptacle coupled to the handle. The applicator and receptacle may be coupled to a same end of the handle or opposite ends of the handle. In some examples, the applicator may be retractable into the handle which serves as a housing. In some examples, the applicator may extend or retract corresponding to the removal or attaching of the detachable receptacle. In some examples, a cap may be coupled to the handle to serve as a housing for the applicator. In some examples, the cap may be disposed between the handle and the detachable receptacle.

Abstract: A dispenser includes a housing having a reservoir for containing a product. An applicator tip is coupled to the housing and has an applicator and a product delivery passageway extending through the applicator tip and terminating at an opening in the applicator. A thermal storage mechanism is disposed on the applicator spaced from the opening in the applicator and provides an application surface for contacting a user.

Abstract: A jar and lid assembly that includes a jar assembly configured to hold a product and a base configured to at least partially house the jar. The jar and lid assembly also includes a rotatable lid assembly pivotably coupled to the jar assembly and includes an outer lid portion and an inner lid portion. The rotatable lid assembly further includes a lid ring having: (i) a hinge portion configured to pivot on an axis of the base such that the rotatable lid assembly is pivotable relative to the jar assembly and (ii) a lid ring protruding portion disposed within the gap and a liner disposed on an underside of the inner lid portion and configured to contact the jar when the rotatable lid assembly is in a rotatably closed position. The outer lid portion and the inner lid portion are configured to be movable relative to the lid ring.

Abstract: Cosmetic containers having multiple levels, a lid, and a base, in which the opening of the lid also provides access to at least first and second levels having one or more compartments for products and/or applicators. The base may contain a first level, and be coupled via a first linkage to a second level. The lid may be coupled by a pivot assembly to the base and to the second level by a second linkage. The overall assembly may allow access to both the first level and the second level on opening the lid.

Abstract: A slim-sized, dual makeup applicator provides two applicators for cosmetic product application or maintenance. The applicators are contained or removably fitted within a single body, providing for a compact arrangement. A longitudinal base has two opposing distal ends, each distal end having either an attached applicator that extends longitudinally outward from the longitudinal base or a recess within the longitudinal base for fitting and containing therein a removable applicator. According to an embodiment, a removable cap may be included to expose and cover the attached applicator. The attached applicator or the removable cap may be configured to contain a cosmetic product for application with the attached applicator; and for the removable applicator portion, the removable applicator or the recess may be configured to contain a cosmetic product for application with the removable applicator.

Abstract: A cosmetic apparatus for streamlining application, transport, and/or storage of cosmetic applicators is described. The cosmetic apparatus may include a cover and one or multiple cosmetic implements that are pivotably coupled to the cover. The cover define a gap within which at least one cosmetic implement may be disposed. The cosmetic implements may be pivotable about a hinge between a closed position and an open position.

Abstract: A foldable cosmetic implement may include a first portion pivotably coupled to a second portion. An applicator may be coupled to the first portion opposite a connection of the first portion to the second portion. The cosmetic implement may be movable between a stored state and an extended state. The first portion may be at least partially enclosed in a receptacle of the second portion when the cosmetic implement is in the stored state. The cosmetic implement may include a locking mechanism to retain the implement in the stored state. The locking mechanism may be actuated by squeezing first and second sides of the second portion towards each other.

Abstract: A quick release container includes a base having a well to hold a product and a neck including latches each having a latch protrusion and a flexible portion. The quick release container includes a lid assembly having an inner lid portion and an outer lid portion movable relative to each other. One or more first lid protrusions prevent movement of the outer lid portion. The lid assembly includes a biasing element to apply a biasing force to the outer lid portion. The lid assembly includes a collar that moves between the outer lid portion and the base. The collar has one or more collar protrusions each configured to engage the flexible portions of the one or more latches and cause the one or more latch protrusions to disengage from the one or more first lid protrusions and facilitate movement of the outer lid portion relative to the inner lid portion.
