Abstract: A phosphorylated A2A receptor agonist providing agonist properties on the A2A receptor after dephosphorylation the phosphorylated A2A receptor agonist comprises a ribosyl moiety and a purine moiety and being phosphorylated at the 5?-position of the ribose moiety except adenosine monophosphate (AMP), adenosine diphosphate (ADP) or adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a medicament containing the compound of the invention including ADP and the use of the compound of the invention including ATP and ADP for several medical indications e. g. inflammatory events. In particular, compounds of formula (I) are also disclosed.
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of certain spiro, ketone and carboxylic acid compounds for the inhibition of the peptidyl-prolyl cis/trans isomerase activity of cyclophilins and the use of these compounds for the production of a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition for the promotion of hair growth or for the treatment or prevention of inflammatory autoimmune diseases, of diseases caused by fungi, of bacterial infections, of viral infections, of diseases caused by parasites, protozoa or worms, of cancer, of diseases of cells, of fibrosing diseases, and of non-neoplastic changes and diseases which are attributable to prions and changes in the structure and function of cellular proteins and cells.

Abstract: Use of fluorine-containing compounds for the diagnostic detection of inflammatory processes by means of an imaging method, said inflammatory processes being selected from the group consisting of inflammatory processes of the lymphatic system, such as cancers that directly affect the lymph nodes, especially Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin lymphomas, tumor metastases; liver tumors, inflammatory processes in the border zone of infarctions, such as myocardial infarction and stroke, or tumors; inflammation of organs, such as myocarditis, encephalitis, meningitis (cerebral and spinal meninges); multiple sclerosis; inflammations of the gastrointestinal tract, such as Crohn's disease; inflammation of the vessels, such as arteriosclerosis, especially so-called “vulnerable plaques”; detection of abscesses and arthritis.
Abstract: The invention relates to compounds according to general formula (1) and/or their enantiomers, diastereomers as well as their pharmaceutically compatible salts, and to the use thereof for producing a medicament suited for treating diseases associated with misfolded proteins.

Abstract: An antibody for diagnosis or treatment of neuropsychiatric diseases, in particular schizophrenia, depression or bipolar affective disorders, is characterized in that the antibody recognizes misfolded specific proteins that can be assigned to one of the diseases, and a method for diagnosis by means of antibodies that bind to neuropsychiatric disease-specific proteins.
