A first partial structure (1, 2) can be expanded at least in the radial direction and has at least one radial-expansion component. The individual radial expansion components (12, 13) are arranged as a helix or in a helix shape. A second partial structure (11) is generally almost rigid in the axial direction.
Abstract: A process for producing a coating on a refractory structural member, in which a noble metal alloy is applied as a coating material to the refractory structural member. The noble metal alloy contains, among other constituents, an oxidizable substance, which includes boron and/or phosphorus and/or antimony and/or arsenic. The refractory structural member and the coating are heated at least once in an oxygen-containing atmosphere to a temperature T that is greater than or equal to the liquidus temperature TL of the noble metal alloy. The oxidizable substance is oxidized during this heating process, and the oxide that has formed is at least partially vaporized. The temperature T is maintained until the proportion of oxidizable substance in the coating is <0.1 atomic percent, and the coated refractory structural member is then cooled.

Abstract: A bonding wire spool case, and a method of handling a spool using the spool case has a structure capable of effectively preventing the durability and the holding of the spool from being deteriorated due to the repeated coupling and decoupling operations of the spool with respect to the spool holder while preventing the bonding wire from being contaminated and damaged due to the carelessness of the worker. The bonding wire spool case includes a base having a bottom portion and a sidewall protruded from the bottom portion. The base mounts a spool wound with a bonding wire thereon. A cover is coupled to the base at the outer surface of the sidewall of the base to prevent an alien material such as dust from being introduced. The sidewall of the base is partially provided with an opening portion. A slide coupling member is internally formed at the base such that the slide coupling member is fitted to the flange portion of the spool when the spool slides inward through the opening portion.

Abstract: A spool gripper is coupled to any one of the flanges provided at both sides of a spool wound with a semiconductor device bonding wire thereon. The spool gripper has an inner diameter portion for receiving a spool holder when the spool is fitted to the spool holder, a coupling portion coupled to the circumference of the flange while bearing a diameter larger than the inner diameter portion, and an outer diameter portion with a diameter larger than the coupling portion. The worker grips the outer diameter portion to handle the spool. The handling of the spool can be made without directly touching the spool. The wire bonding operation is made while the gripper is coupled to the flange. Therefore, it is not necessary to decouple the gripper from the flange to make the wire bonding operation. Accordingly, the durability of the gripper and the reliability in the spool holding can be maintained without deterioration while preventing separation of the spool from the gripper.
Abstract: A process for producing a tube target for cathode sputtering plants, in which the tube target is formed from a metallic inner tube (target holder) made of a first material with a first melting point of Ts1≧900 K and a metallic outer tube (target) that concentrically surrounds the inner tube and that is made of a second material with a second melting point of Ts2≦800 K. The inside diameter of the outer tube and the outside diameter of the inner tube are proportioned in such a way that the two tubes fit together tightly and are mechanically firmly joined. The outer tube is formed by casting the second material in a molten state in a heated, vertical, A cylindrical permanent mold, which has a heated mandrel that constitutes the inner tube.

The bonding wire spool case includes a base having a bottom portion, a sidewall protruding from the bottom portion in a body at four sides thereof while internally forming a spool receipt portion, and a holder entrance formed at one or more sides of the sidewall to pass a spool holder. A spool wound with a bonding wire thereon is mounted to the spool receipt portion in the horizontal direction such that the central axis of the spool is maintained to be parallel to the bottom portion of the base.
