  • Patent number: 11233850
Abstract: A technique includes causing an agent device to setup a replication partnership between a first storage node and a second storage. Causing the agent device to setup the replication partnership includes configuring a proxy server that is associated with the second storage node to establish a secure communication channel for the replication partnership over a public network. Configuring the proxy server includes storing in the proxy server credentials for authenticating the first storage node to use the secure communication channel; and establishing port translations to be used in the secure communication channel in communicating replication data between the first storage node and the second storage node. Causing the agent device to setup the replication partnership may also include communicating replication partnership information to the second node.

  • Patent number: 11234197
Abstract: Example implementations relate to predicting power states of access points (APs). A non-transitory computer readable medium may store instructions executable by a processing resource to: in response to a first client device being associated with a first access point (AP) of a group of APs, determine a first degree of performance a second AP of the group is to provide if the first client device is associated with the second AP; and predict, based on the determined degree of performance, a second degree of performance the group of AP is to provide to a second client device if the second client device is associated with the group of APs during a first time interval at a location.

  • Patent number: 11233744
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a light-weight model for traffic classification within a network fabric. A classification model is deployed onto an edge switch within a network fabric, the model enabling traffic classification using a set of statistical features derived from packet length information extracted from the IP header for a plurality of data packets within a received traffic flow. The statistical features comprise a number of unique packet lengths, a minimum packet length, a maximum packet length, a mean packet length, a standard deviation of the packet length, a maximum run length, a minimum run length, a mean run length, and a standard deviation of run length. Based on the calculated values for the statistical features, the edge switch determines a traffic class for the received traffic flow and tags the traffic flow with an indication of the determined traffic class.

  • Patent number: 11232446
Abstract: The disclosure relates an edge digital gate (“EDG”) configured with entitlement services, universal identity repositories, and connection concentrator functions. The universal identity repositories each include a shared cache that together with other shared caches form a shared data environment (“SDE”). The SDE provides a distributed and shared cache used to chain together EDGs for operation as a blockchain network. The SDE may be check-pointed by stateless Virtual Network Functions (“VNFs”) executing on the EDGs responsive to service demand and access, thus facilitating distributed consensus for validating each transaction. Through SDE the stateless VNFs disperse transaction-status based on a smart contract, which enforce transactions associated with blockchain-based digital services to which access is provided by the EDGs.

  • Patent number: 11232352
Abstract: A circuit for a neuron of a multi-stage compute process is disclosed. The circuit comprises a weighted charge packet (WCP) generator. The circuit may also include a voltage divider controlled by a programmable resistance component (e.g., a memristor). The WCP generator may also include a current mirror controlled via the voltage divider and arrival of an input spike signal to the neuron. WCPs may be created to represent the multiply function of a multiply accumulate processor. The WCPs may be supplied to a capacitor to accumulate and represent the accumulate function. The value of the WCP may be controlled by the length of the spike in signal times the current supplied through the current mirror. Spikes may be asynchronous. Memristive components may be electrically isolated from input spike signals so their programmed conductance is not affected. Positive and negative spikes and WCPs for accumulation may be supported.

  • Patent number: 11231872
Abstract: Storage system comprises a cluster of storage controllers communicatively coupled to a storage device. Each storage controller is associated with a storage namespace in the storage device to process I/O operations of associated storage namespace. An I/O processing engine allocates I/O queues to each storage controller from the cluster of storage controllers for processing I/O operations of the associated storage namespace. The I/O processing engine is to identify a heated controller from the cluster of storage controllers based on temperature data corresponding to the cluster of storage controllers and suspend I/O queues handled by the heated controller. The I/O processing engine is to select a substitute controller based on the temperature data, associate the substitute controller with the storage namespace of the heated controller and allocate additional I/O queues to the substitute controller for processing the I/O operations for the storage namespace.
