  • Patent number: 7405767
Abstract: A video image conversion method is for converting interlaced image into progressive image. The deinterlacing method for the video system is for converting the interlaced image into the progressive image. The method performs an interpolation algorithm based on the pixel value of a reference field. An inter-field estimation on the pixel values is performed by referring to a predetermined value to calculate difference value between specific vicinity pixel value and predetermined value, to obtain a set of pixel values, corresponding to the minimum value of summation of a set of pixel difference values. The pixel value corresponding to the auxiliary field is interpolated. The reference field and the auxiliary filed are also referred as the odd field and the even field, where neither the interlacing order nor the respective correspondence is constrained. The method further detects a still motion, such that the flickering is effectively eliminated in another interpolation mode.

  • Patent number: 7372525
Abstract: The present invention relates to a color filter with mosaic pixel array arrangement. The color filter comprises a plurality of pixel arrays. The pixel array has four sub-pixels. The color of the sub-pixel of the pixel array is identical to that of another sub-pixel of another pixel array adjacent to the pixel array. The sub-pixels with same color form a sub-pixel group so that the area of a single color of the sub-pixel group is increased. Therefore, the adhesion strength between the sub-pixel group and the substrate can be augmented to avoid peeling from the substrate. According to the invention, the yield rate of the product will be raised and the chromaticity will be improved.

  • Publication number: 20080001898
Abstract: The invention provides solutions to solve the power consumption of the image data buses of an LCD source driver. With a bus buffer provided in one embodiment of the invention, a first image data buses are divided into several groups. Each group of image data buses is dispatched by the bus buffer. It is possible in one embodiment of the invention that some groups are active when the others are passive. Therefore, unnecessary power consumption is cut off. Despite the power saved by the management of the bus buffer, the parasitic capacitance of each group of image data buses is much smaller than that of the image data buses in the prior art. Moreover, the management of the bus buffer can depend upon the layout patterns or the layout locations of circuit components so that the driving strength of the bus buffer may be modified according to the layout pattern or the layout locations.
