Abstract: A wireless switching circuit includes a charging capacitor, a voltage converter, an infrared sensor unit, a single chip microcomputer (SCM), a zero trigger circuit, and a thyristor. The charging capacitor is used to store and supply power. The voltage converter is used to convert alternating current (AC) voltage into direct current (DC) voltage to charge the charging capacitor. The infrared sensor unit is used to output control signals according to sensed infrared signals. The SCM outputs a trigger signal according to the control signals from the infrared sensor unit. Input ends of the zero trigger circuit are connected to the SCM to receive the trigger signal. An anode and a cathode of the thyristor is connected to a power supply line for the socket. A control end of the thyristor is connected to an output end of the zero trigger circuit.

Abstract: An optical fiber connector includes a collar body with a defined interior space extending from a first end to a second end, a backbone with a main body portion and a cover portion extending from the main body portion, the backbone having a defined interior space extending from a first end to a second end, and a boot with a defined interior space extending from a first end to a second end, a portion of the defined interior space including a convex interior wall. The collar body is inserted into at least a portion of the backbone defined space and the backbone is inserted into at least a portion of the boot defined space. The boot interior wall is configured to resist against the backbone cover portion to clamp an optical fiber in the backbone main body portion.

Abstract: An error handling system as applied to a server, the server comprising a central processing unit, the central processing unit configured to send a warning signal when the central processing unit generates an error. The error handling system includes a programmable logic device, a baseboard management controller coupled to a southbridge chip, and a basic input-output system coupled to the baseboard management controller. The southbridge chip is configured to detect the warning signal and send a notification signal to the baseboard management controller upon detection. The basic input-output system is configured to identify the error and correct the error upon receiving the notification signal.

Abstract: A peripheral component interconnect (PCI) adapter includes a PCI connector for connecting to a PCI slot of a motherboard, a first PCI expansion slots for connecting a first PCI card, a second PCI expansion slot for connecting a second PCI card, a detection control circuit connected to the first PCI expansion slot and the second PCI expansion slot, and an alarm circuit connected to the detection control circuit. The detection control circuit detects operation power of the first PCI card and the second PCI card, and controls the alarm circuit to report a fault alarm when the operation power of the first PCI card exceeds a threshold power of the first PCI expansion slot or the operation power of the second PCI card exceeds a threshold power of the second PCI expansion slot.

Abstract: A traffic monitoring system includes a plurality of road monitoring devices and a traffic control center electronically coupled to the road monitoring devices. Each road monitoring device has specific transmittable position information stored therein. The traffic control center has stored transmittable images of a plurality of vehicle types and stored transmittable images of the plurality of roads to be monitored. When one or more vehicles passes one of the road monitoring devices, the road monitoring device receives a vehicle identification code from each vehicle, calculates position information of each vehicle and transmits the road monitoring device position information, each vehicle identification code and the vehicle position information for each vehicle to the traffic control center. The traffic control center configures a three dimensional traffic image from all of the vehicle images of the one or more vehicles passing the one of the road monitoring devices.

The front frame includes a front frame body and a side frame portion surrounding the front frame body. A groove is defined in the side frame portion. The receiving portion defines a receiving section for receiving the display panel. The back frame includes one or more resisting blocks protruding from the receiving section. The resisting blocks resist the display panel. The flanges engage in the groove to secure the front frame to the back frame.

Abstract: A bracket for an electronic device includes a supporting plate and a base. The supporting plate comprises a supporting member and two mounting blocks mounted to the supporting member including two supporting poles. One end of each mounting block is supported by the base. The supporting poles can be mounted to the corresponding mounting blocks to enable the supporting member to be in different positions, thereby changing a distance between a bottom portion of the supporting member and the base.

Abstract: In a focus identification method for identifying different focuses of an object, discrete image data is acquired from captured images of an object. The images are captured by a charge coupled device (CCD) in motion of a measurement machine at a predetermined time period. The discrete image data includes definitions of the images and Z-coordinates of the CCD when capturing the images. Maxima and minima of the discrete image data are computed to establish intervals within the discrete image data. The intervals are selected one by one, and a curve is fitted according to the discrete image data at the selected interval. A peak value of the fitted curve is computed as one of focuses of the object when a goodness of fit of the fitted curve meets a predetermined criterion.

Abstract: A measuring machine includes a measuring device and a protective cover covering the measuring device. The measuring device is configured to measure parameters of a work piece. The measuring device includes a control box, a supporting board, a light ring configured to illuminate the work piece, and a camera module configured to obtain images of the work piece. The cover is made of non-transparent material. A first side of the cover defines a cut-out and a first slot. A second side of the cover opposite to the first side defines a second slot corresponding in size and alignment with the first slot. One side of the control box is exposed from the cut. Two ends of the supporting board are positioned on the first and second slots and exposed from the first and second slots.

Abstract: An optical fiber connector assembling device includes a body defining an assembling space, a first fiber supporting groove, and a second fiber supporting groove. The first and second fiber supporting grooves are located at opposite sides of the assembling space and are coupled with the assembling space, the assembling device is used to precisely assemble and close together, or disassemble a fiber optic connector and an optic fiber.

Abstract: A power adapter includes a body, a plug, and an operation board. The plug is detachably received in and electrically connected to the body. The plug has an engagement slot. The operation board is rotatably received in the body and includes a hook, a pressing portion and a pop portion. The hook latches to the engagement slot to secure the plug to the body. The pressing portion is pressed by external forces. The pop portion is positioned below the plug. When the pressing portion receives an external force, the pressing portion rotates towards the body and drives the pop portion to rotate away from the body, whereby the pop portion pops up the plug from the body.

Abstract: A booting system for a crashed motherboard includes a BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) chip, and a south bridge chip. The BIOS chip stores a plurality of boot procedures. The south bridge chip is coupled to the BIOS chip and includes a cache module. The cache module loads the plurality of boot procedures from the BIOS chip when the motherboard is powered on. When the motherboard crashes, the south bridge chip can load the plurality of boot procedures from the cache module to power on or repower the motherboard.

Abstract: A server cabinet includes a cabinet body having a side plate, a door pivotably coupled to a front side of the side plate, a power distribution unit mounted in the cabinet body, and a plurality of power supply units attached to an inner side of the door. The power supply units are electrically coupled with the power distribution unit and configured to be electrically coupled with a plurality of servers through a plurality of cables, the power supply units being detachable and replaceable in spite of minimal physical access through the partly-closed door.

Abstract: In processing and compressing three-dimensional video data, a first color macroblock (MB) and a first depth MB is acquired from a frame. The first depth MB is down-sampled to obtain a second depth MB. Depth information of the second depth MB is embedded to the first color MB, to create a second color MB. The second color MB is compressed and entropy encoded, to obtain video encoding data. The video encoding data is entropy decoded and decompressed, to obtain a third color MB. Depth information, brightness information, and chroma information are acquired from the third color MB, to create a third depth MB and a fourth color MB. A fifth color MB is created according to up-sampled third depth MB and the fourth color MB. The fourth color MB and the fifth color MB are synthesized into the three-dimensional video data.

Abstract: A smart switch applied to a smart home system is connected to a power supply and at least one electronic device. The smart switch includes a screen, a power detecting unit configured to detect real-time electrical information of the electronic device, a processor unit including a calculating module configured to calculate total electricity consumption of the electronic device and a control module configured to control the screen to display instantaneous electrical information and the total electricity consumption, and a communication unit configured to connect the smart switch to a gateway of the smart home system in wired or wireless manner, and send the electrical information and the total electricity consumption to the gateway. A smart home system is also provided.

Abstract: A grasping apparatus for grasping an object includes at least two grasping portions and at least two pressure sensing mechanisms disposed in the corresponding grasping portions. The pressure sensing mechanism detects a grasping force between the grasping portions while grasping the object. The pressure sensing mechanism includes two parallel metal films and an elastic portion therebetween. The elastic portion deforms to decrease the distance between the metal films for sensing the grasping force.

Abstract: A complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) data reset circuit includes a control unit, a south bridge chip including a reset pin electrically coupled to the control unit, and a indicating unit electrically coupled between the control unit and the south bridge chip. The control unit outputs a control signal to the reset pin and the indicating unit to cause resetting of the CMOS data by the south bridge chip and the indicating unit indicates the resetting of CMOS data as it takes place.

The connector assembly includes a supporting assembly supporting the electronic device, an adjusting frame, and a connecting element. The adjusting frame is slidably fixed on the supporting assembly. The connecting element includes a connector and a cable electrically coupled to the connector. The connector includes a plurality of plugs in different sizes and types. An electronic device adjusts a zoom ratio of the lens to be a maximum ratio, and calculates X, Y, Z coordinate differences between the lens center and the sensor center. The electronic device calibrates the X, Y coordinate differences at least twice, to obtain calibrated X, Y coordinate differences. The X, Y differences are replaced by the calibrated X, Y coordinate differences when the calibrated X, Y coordinate differences satisfy first predetermined requirements. The electronic device further calibrates the Z coordinate difference at least twice to obtain a calibrated Z coordinate difference. The Z coordinate difference is replaced by the calibrated Z coordinate difference when the calibrated Z coordinate difference satisfies second predetermined requirements.
