The second shell and the cover constitute a composite tube extending in a second direction, which is orthogonal to the first direction, or in an oblique direction, which includes components of the first and second directions. The terminal includes a first portion, which extends in the first direction and is disposed inside the connecting portion, and a second portion, which extends in the second direction or the oblique direction and is disposed inside the composite tube.

The connector includes a metal bonding member (360) which thermally couples a metal shell (25) to the temperature switch IC (33). The connector in which power supply can be cut off with high sensitivity with respect to abnormal heating in a plug portion is provided.
