    Abstract: An outer operational device includes a cover mounted to a side of a door. An actuating member is mounted in the cover and includes an end engaged with a handle to rotate therewith. A sliding member is slideably received in the cover and operably connected to the actuating member, so that the sliding member slides when the actuating member rotates. A limiting member is pivotably received in the cover between a blocking position not allowing movement of the sliding member and a release position allowing movement of the sliding member. The handle is rotatable when the limiting member is in the release position. The handle is not rotatable when the limiting member is in the blocking position. A key-operable lock core is operably connected to the actuating member, so that the limiting member can be moved to the blocking position to provide a burglarproof function.

    Abstract: A latch assembly includes a base mounted to a door and a latch bolt having a latch pivotably connected to the base. The latch bolt further includes a link pivotably connected to the latch and the base. A follower plate is pivotably connected to the link, allowing pivotal movement of the follower plate and the link relative to the base and allowing relative pivotal movement between the follower plate and the link. A linking rod is coupled with the follower plate to move therewith. When the linking rod moves in a vertical direction, the follower plate moves together with the linking rod to pivot the latch between a latching position and an unlatching position. The latch assembly can be utilized as a surfaced-type or concealed-type bottom latch. After adding some parts, the latch assembly can be converted into a surfaced-type or concealed-type top latch.

A locking plate is moveable by the cylinder through transmission by a lever link between an unlocking position allowing movement of the latch bolt and a locking position not allowing movement of the latch bolt. The locking plate is active when a connecting member is slideably extended through a slot in the first sidewall and through an engaging hole of the lever link into another engaging hole in the follower. The locking plat is inactive when the connecting member is slideably extended through another slot in the second sidewall and engaged in the engaging hole of the follower and not engaged in the engaging hole of the lever link.

    Abstract: A lock includes a handle, a hub, and a spindle rotatably mounted in the hub and coupled to the handle to turn therewith. A transmission member is fixed to the handle to turn therewith. The transmission member is mounted around and not rotatably engaged with the spindle. The transmission member is stopped by the hub after the handle has been turned through an angle, transmitting a torque from the handle to the hub via the transmission member. Thus, impact from the handle can be partly transmitted to the hub and then to a door on which the lock is mounted, instead of completely transmitted to the spindle. Damage to the spindle is, thus, avoided.

The inner mounting plate is rotatable relative to the inner coupling seat to a position in which one of the plurality of pairs of holes is aligned with the slots. Two mounting posts are extended through the slots and through two through-holes in the door. Each mounting post is slideably received in one of the slots, allowing the mounting posts to move toward or away from each other until a spacing between the mounting posts is equal to that between the two through-holes of the door.

When the locking plug is moved from the unblocking position to the blocking position not allowing retraction operation of the latch bolt, movement of a push member pushes the front end of the outside spindle away from the through-hole of the wheel such that the front end of the outside spindle is disengaged from the circumferential wall of the through-hole of the wheel, thereby disengaging the outside spindle from the wheel.
