Abstract: Disclosed are aqueous inkjet inks containing a polyurethane ink additive as a binder. The binder contains a component capable of interacting with cellulose. Certain heterocycles having similar Hansen solubility parameters as cellulose were incorporated into the polyurethane binders. Prints from these inks have better durability and optical properties than similar additives that do not have the components capable of interacting with cellulose.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus to utilize route parameter sets for exchanging routes in a communication network are disclosed. An example method to exchange routes in a communication network disclosed herein comprises receiving a route comprising a route identifier identifying the route and a plurality of route parameter values characterizing the route, and sending the route identifier and a pointer to forward the route to a recipient in the communication network, the pointer being associated with a route parameter set comprising the plurality of route parameter values.
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods are disclosed which utilize lightweight agents on a mobile device to detect message-based attacks. In exemplary configurations, the lightweight agents are included as contacts on the mobile device addressed to an agent server on a network. A malware onboard the mobile device, intending to propagate, unknowingly addresses the lightweight agents, sending messages to the agent server. The agent server analyzes the messages received from the mobile device of the deployed lightweight agents. The agent server then generates attack signatures for the malware. Using malware propagation models, the system estimates how many active mobile devices are infected as well as the total number of infected mobile devices in the network. By understanding the malware propagation, the service provider can decide how to deploy a mitigation plan on crucial locations. In further configurations, the mechanism may be used to detect message and email attacks on other devices.

Abstract: The disclosed technology, in one embodiment, involves a method that improves the execution speed of graph algorithms that are commonly used by network service providers for network analysis and/or design. The disclosed technology can be used to provide significant efficiency improvements when applied to networks that are separated into several isolated fragments (“fragmented networks”) due to severe damage that may be caused by either natural disaster (such as hurricanes or earthquakes), or planned adversary attacks. In one embodiment of the disclosed technology, a graph algorithm, that is used to determine a characteristic of the network, is not applied directly to the whole network/graph. Instead, the graph algorithm is applied to isolated network/graph fragments that are identified, for example, by using a fragment discovery algorithm. The graph algorithm is then applied to one or more relevant fragments. The results may be combined to obtain a network wide result.
