  • Patent number: 11388681
Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for dynamic interference management in NR dynamic TDD systems. A first WTRU (e.g., an aggressor WTRU) may receive downlink control information (DCI). The first WTRU may determine a first priority associated with the first WTRU. The first WTRU may determine the first priority based on one or more of the DCI or a logical channel prioritization. The first WTRU may receive an interference measurement reference signal (IMRS) transmission from a second WTRU (e.g., a victim WTRU). The first WTRU may measure the received IMRS transmission. The first WTRU may determine a second priority associated with a downlink payload of the second WTRU. The first WTRU may determine that the second priority is greater than the first priority. The first WTRU may adjust an uplink transmission power of the first WTRU, for example, based on the first priority and the second priority.

  • Patent number: 11388747
Abstract: A method performed by a WTRU may comprise receiving a plurality of LBT configurations associated with one or more of a beam, a BWP, a LCH, a set of LBT parameters, a transmission type or an LBT subband. The method may further comprise receiving an indication to transmit using a first LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations. An attempt to acquire a channel may then be made using the first LBT configuration. The indication to transmit may additionally indicate a second LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations. Data may be transmitted on the channel when the attempt to acquire the channel is successful. An attempt to acquire the channel using the second LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations may be made when the attempt to acquire the channel using the first LBT configuration fails.

  • Publication number: 20220217736
Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first higher layer configuration for a cancellation indication (CI). Further, the first higher layer configuration may include a set of reference frequency resources. Also, the WTRU may receive a grant indicating a frequency allocation and a time allocation for a scheduled transmission. Further, on a condition that the CI is received, the WTRU may interrupt the scheduled transmission. Additionally, the CI may indicate a subset of frequency resources of the set of reference frequency resources for each of a set of time symbols. Also, the WTRU may cancel the scheduled transmission on a condition that the subset of frequency resources of a set of time symbols overlaps with the frequency allocation and the time allocation for the scheduled transmission. In a further example, the first higher layer configuration may include an applicable maximum priority and the grant may include a priority index.

  • Patent number: 11382121
Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for reliable control signaling, for example, in New Radio (NR). A receiver in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive one or more physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmissions comprising downlink control information (DCI). The WTRU may determine a transmission profile associated with an uplink control information (UCI). Based on the transmission profile, the WTRU may determine one or more transmission characteristics associated with the transmission of the UCI. The WTRU may transmit the UCI over a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). The UCI may be transmitted using transmission characteristics determined by the WTRU. The WTRU may transmit the UCI based on at least one of a control resource set (CORESET), a search space, or a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI). The WTRU may determine a transmission profile differently based on what the UCI may comprise.

Abstract: Methods, devices and systems are provided for performing a random access (RA) procedure. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to receive RA resource sets, where each of the RA resource sets is associated with a node-B directional beam, select an RA resource set from among the RA resource sets, and initiate an RA procedure based on the selected RA resource set. The RA procedure may include selecting multiple preambles which include a preamble for each resource of a plurality of resources corresponding to the selected RA resource set. The WTRU may be configured to sequentially transmit the selected multiple preambles in sequential RA transmissions, and may be configured to receive, from a node-B, in response to the RA transmissions, at least one RA response (RAR), where each of the received at least one RAR corresponds to one of the transmitted multiple preambles.

  • Patent number: 11374644
Abstract: A WTRU may include a memory and a processor. The processor may be configured to receive beam grouping information from a gNB or transmission and reception point (TRP). The beam grouping information may indicate a group of beams that the WTRU may report using group-based reporting. The group-based reporting may be a reduced level of reporting compared to a beam-based reporting. The group-based report may include measurement information for a representative beam. The representative beam may be one of the beams in the group or represents an average of the beams in the group. Alternatively, the representative beam may be a beam that has a maximum measurement value compared to other beams in the group. The group-based report may include a reference signal received power (RSRP) for the representative beam and a differential RSRP for each additional beam in the beam group.

  • Publication number: 20220201654
Abstract: Hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) timing may be determined. Physical SL feedback channel (PSFCH) resource pool selection may be performed. A source WTRU may (e.g., determine to) signal a PSFCH resource based on channel state information (CSI), transmitter (TX)-receiver (RX) distance, and/or CBR. A destination WTRU may determine sub-channels to include PSFCH resources based on a PSCCH/PSSCH resource and/or WTRU PHY ID information. One or more resource blocks may be determined within a sub-channel for PSFCH transmission based on the WTRU PHY ID and/or a Link ID. A first set of symbols in a slot may be sensed to detect a PSSCH and/or a PSSCH+PSFCH transmission to (e.g., determine to) transmit a PSFCH in the end of the slot without colliding with the PSSCH. A WTRU may switch to a dedicated PSFCH resource pool or Mode 1 transmission upon failure to acquire PSFCH resources in a shared PSFCH resource pool.

  • Publication number: 20220191865
Abstract: A WTRU may receive downlink control information (DCI) indicating a start of a frame. The DCI may be received on a control channel, such as the Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) from an eNB, base station, AP, or other infrastructure equipment operating in a wireless communications system. The WTRU may determine a downlink (DL) transmission portion and assignment and an uplink (UL) transmission portion and UL grant based on the received DCI. Additionally, the WTRU may determine the start of the UL portion based on an offset (toffset). The WTRU may receive data in a DL portion of the frame and may transmit in an UL portion of the frame based on the determined UL grant and TTI duration.
