  • Patent number: 11188126
Abstract: An input/output expander for a mobile device has a communications module connectible thereto. Output display signals from the mobile device and input signals to the mobile device are relayed between the mobile device and the bi-directional projection unit by the communications module. A display output projector is connected to the communications module, and the output display signal from the mobile device is converted to a first series of light outputs corresponding to the output display signal. The expander has a virtual keyboard projector generating a second series of light outputs corresponding to a virtual keyboard key arrangement. A key input sensor with a sensing coverage area encompassing the virtual keyboard key arrangement detects user input at specific positions thereon. • Publication number: 20210360991
Abstract: The subject disclosure describes, among other things, illustrative embodiments of an impact protection device that comprises the following elements: a machine, a protective structural member, and a fluid holding member. The impact protection device is designed to protect a user from an impact to the protective structural member by dissipating a portion of the kinetic energy of the impact. Machine operation translates into a controlled movement between elements of the impact protection device that deform the fluid holding member, thereby displacing a fluid. This controlled movement also dictates a throttling profile that regulates the amount of damping; thereby managing the portion of kinetic energy dissipated. The machine can be a mechanical assembly incorporating levers, cams and or computerized controllers.

The device includes a housing formed around a sliding barrel movably disposed within a tube. The sliding barrel includes a tab that extends through an aperture of the housing, wherein the tab allows a user to move the sliding barrel between an extended position and a retracted position. The tube has a circumference smaller than a circumference of the lipstick holder, such that an upper end of tube can be circumscribed by the lipstick holder. A remaining portion of lipstick within the lipstick holder is removed by the sliding barrel and received within the housing when the sliding barrel is retracted. A lipstick securing member extends from an upper end of the sliding barrel to assist in the extraction of the lipstick from the lipstick holder.

  • Publication number: 20210339172
Abstract: A feedwell comprising a plurality of holes disposed in a bottom thereof, at least some of the holes having a tube disposed thereabout which extends downward or otherwise away from an interior of the feedwell. Optionally, a large center hole can be provided and it can have a tube disposed around it. By providing a plurality of holes spread across a large portion of the bottom of the feedwell, lower velocity flow rates from the feedwell to a sedimentation chamber can be provided, thus reducing induced turbulence in the fluid within the sedimentation chamber, while still providing sufficient separation of the feedwell from the sedimentation chamber so that the contents of the feedwell can be properly and adequately mixed.

  • Patent number: 11134753
Abstract: An automatic lacing mechanism automatically laces between two shoe pieces, and includes a clamping module, a positioning module, a shoelace-running module, and a shoelace-arranging module. The clamping module is adapted to fixedly clamp shoe pieces. The positioning module is adapted to position the shoe pieces prior to the shoe pieces are fixedly clamped, so that the clamping module could firmly clamp the shoe pieces. The shoelace-running module is adapted to run the shoelace through the lace eyelets on the shoe pieces. The shoelace-arranging module is adapted to change the direction of the shoelace during lacing. The positioning module has two positioning pins, wherein a distance therebetween is adjustable, and therefore the positioning module is suitable for the positioning of footwear having different distances between its lace eyelets, which could make the automatic lacing process smoother.
