The wireless communication method receives communication information through a plurality of antennas, generates a plurality of beam directions, selects one of the beam directions on the basis of the received communication information, and performs communication using the selected beam direction. Communication information received through the unselected beam directions among the beam directions are ignored.

Abstract: A vessel messenger service apparatus includes: a vessel messenger service unit for providing messenger service between vessel, converting a local message from a vessel client into a global message to be transmitted to a land client, converting a message generated from the land client into a local message and providing the converted local message to the vessel client; and a vessel maintenance service unit for providing a remote vessel maintenance service and a messenger service between the vessel client and the land client by interworking with a unified vessel maintenance service unit on land. The apparatus further includes a database managing unit for managing information for the vessel client and the land client.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and receiver for detecting a wireless signal in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system. The receiver includes a radio frequency (RF) unit which receives a wireless signal; an analog/digital converter (ADC) which converts the wireless signal into a digital signal; a fast Fourier transform (FFT) unit which applies FFT to the digital signal; a multiple inputs and multiple outputs (MIMO) detector which performs channel compensation for the FFT applying result; a constellation-demapping unit which constellation-demaps with regard to the channel compensation result; a decoder which decodes the constellation-demapping result; and a high throughput (HT) detector which determines whether the wireless signal is a signal modulated with quadrature binary phase shift keying (Q-BPSK) constellation obtained by rotating binary phase shift keying (BPSK) constellation at an angle of 90 degrees on the basis of the FFT applying result.

Abstract: Recording capacity per layer is detected from a disc and bit allocation of wobble addresses in a conventional optical disc and bit allocation in a high-density optical disc are controlled selectively to detect physical position addresses on the disc. Address detection can be performed for two kinds of discs which are equal in structure of addresses embedded in wobbles but different in bit allocation of addresses.

Abstract: A flight dynamics subsystem (FDS), a velocity increment calculation module, and operational methods of the same are provided. A used fuel quantity actually used in a satellite is calculated, and a velocity increment is calculated using the calculated fuel quantity. Therefore, an orbit of the satellite may be estimated more accurately.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for creating a personal sound zone are provided. The personal sound zone creating apparatus increases directivity in a horizontal direction by including a broadside array adapted to generate a sound beam perpendicularly to an arrangement of an array constituted by at least three transducers in a personal audio device. Also, the personal sound zone creating apparatus controls back radiation by including an end-fire array by arranging at least two arrays.

Abstract: A fusing device to reduce lubricant leakage, includes a fusing belt having a heat source placed therein, a pressure roller placed to apply pressure to an outer surface of the fusing belt, and a nip plate to support an inner surface of the fusing belt so as to define a fusing nip between the fusing belt and the pressure roller. The nip plate includes a stepped portion spaced apart from the inner surface of the fusing belt so as to define a space for accommodation of a lubricant applied to the inner surface of the fusing belt. The fusing device may further include a side frame to rotatably support a longitudinal end of the fusing belt. The side frame may be provided with a lubricant guide to guide the lubricant on the longitudinal end of the fusing belt toward the center of the fusing belt.

Abstract: A mobile terminal participates in or originates a multipoint call with at least two other communication terminals connected to at least first and second call lines formed in the multipoint call. The voice data on each call line is separately recorded, or each party's voice data is separately recorded. A playback list is generated with playback selections, where each playback selection corresponds to one of the communication terminals. A user can thereby play back voice data from specific parties in the multipoint call without having to search an entire file to find the specific voice data.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of a node sending frames in a Cognitive Radio (CR) system. The method of the node includes being allocated a first channel as an operating channel where the node will be operated, sensing one or more candidate channels available as the operating channel of the node, determining whether to extend a frequency bandwidth of the operating channel, in addition to the first channel, based on a result of the sense for the one or more candidate channels, and sending the frames using a frequency bandwidth extended by adding a second channel, newly determined as the operating channel, to the first channel according to the determination.

Abstract: An automatic video delay correction method in which an automatic delay equalizer is used. The method includes steps of: using a processor to read a video signal and analyze and judge whether the back porch of the three primary color signal in a received video signal is the same; if not, using a delay regulator to automatically adjust the delay time of any two leading or trailing primary color signal to generate an adjusted back porch of two primary color signal; using the processor to compare the adjusted back porch of the two primary color signal with the back porch of a maximum delay time to judge whether the adjusted back porch is the same as the back porch of the maximum delay time; and if so, using the processor to generate an adjusted video signal and transmit the adjusted video signal to a remote-end receiving device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for evaluating Automobile Open System Architecture (AUTOSAR) meta file-based basic software properties. The apparatus includes a meta file generation unit, a basic software configuration unit, and a basic software property evaluation unit. The meta file generation unit generates the meta file properties of an AUTOSAR meta file. The basic software configuration unit sets the basic software properties of a basic software configuration file. The basic software property evaluation unit evaluates basic software properties using the meta file properties in order to determine whether the basic software properties were set in conformity with an AUTOSAR standard.

An apparatus for generating a digital clone includes a standard human body model generation unit for extracting information about appearance deformations based on joint control angles of joints from posture-based appearance deformation examples, generating a parametric shape control engine in which the appearance deformation information is incorporated, and incorporating the parametric shape control engine in a standard mesh-type human body model, thus generating a standard human body model. A unique human body model generation unit receives multi-view image examples based on a change in a posture of an actor, generates a 3D model of the actor based on multi-view image examples, and transfers the standard human body model to the 3D model, thus generating a unique human body model, in which unique appearance deformations of the actor based on the change in the posture of the actor are reflected.

Abstract: The present invention provides a cylindrical three-dimensional (3D) image display apparatus and method. The cylindrical 3D image display apparatus includes a spiral screen unit configured such that a plurality of individual screens, each being spirally formed, form a shape of a cylinder, and such that the spiral screen unit display an image on the cylinder. A 3D image control unit is configured to display a 3D image by controlling transparency of each of the plurality of individual screens, based on a display sequence of slice images of the 3D image projected from above or below the cylinder.

Abstract: A method for transmitting downlink data using resource blocks at a base station in a wireless mobile communication system includes transmitting downlink data mapped to physical resource blocks (PRBs) to a user equipment, wherein indexes of virtual resource blocks (VRBs) are mapped to indexes of the PRBs for a first slot and a second slot of a subframe, and the indexes of the PRBs for the second slot are shifted with respect to the indexes of the PRBs for the first slot based on a predetermined gap, and wherein a predetermined offset is applied to an index of a PRB when the index of the PRB is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold.
