Abstract: A valved male luer connector includes a resilient hollow element enclosing a tubular member having an inlet portion and an outlet portion. A collar is axially displaceable to cause a stretching deformation of the resilient hollow element so as to open a cut of a terminal wall thereof adjacent to an initial end of the inlet portion of the tubular member. The collar has a containment axial appendage of the resilient hollow element up to close to the terminal wall thereof. A stop means for limiting the stretching deformation of the resilient hollow element is provided for in the zone close to the terminal wall thereof.

  • Publication number: 20120130337
Abstract: A medical device, particularly for mixing medical fluids, includes two tubular bodies made of materials of different elasticity having respective open ends to be joined together. The end of the second body is inserted axially by friction within the end of the first body and is then blocked via radial projections, which are obtained by plastic deformation of the wall of the end of the first body and are engaged against the end of the second body.

  • Patent number: 8162006
Abstract: A check valve for medical infusion lines and the like, includes a diaphragm made of elastic material set between a first tubular connector and a second tubular connector. The diaphragm includes an end wall of a cup-shaped element, having an outer peripheral edge of which is normally pressed in seal contact against an annular valve seat with a conical surface of the first tubular connector under an axial thrust exerted by a side wall of the cup-shaped element. A free edge of the side wall of the cup-shaped element is set resting against a transverse surface of the second tubular connector only in regions corresponding to angular portions of the latter separated by non-resting angular portions.

  • Patent number: 8048038
Abstract: A valve connector for medical infusion lines including an external tubular body with an inlet end and an outlet end, an internal hollow spike and an intermediate sealing member including a head with pre-slit and an elastic hollow element formed with fluid-tight members in contact with the hollow spike and with an elastic thrust means, which tends to maintain the elastic head in a closed condition. • Publication number: 20110060293
Abstract: A valve connector for medical lines includes a tubular body having a male inlet fitting with external luer cone, which can be coupled to a female tubular fitting with internal luer cone, wherein the inlet fitting includes an internally threaded external tubular element for screwed engagement with the female fitting, and an internal tubular element that can be displaced axially from a retracted position of closing to an advanced position of opening of the valve means that control the passage of flow through the connector. The internally threaded external tubular element is free to turn, and the arrangement is such that, when it is screwed off the female fitting and the passage of flow is closed by the valve means, the external luer cone and the internal luer cone remain axially coupled to one another by friction.

  • Patent number: 7784766
Abstract: A valve connector for medical infusion lines includes an external tubular body with an inlet end and an outlet end, a hollow internal pin and an intermediate elastic sealing member 3 having a head with pre-slotting and an elastic hollow element abutted radially against the hollow pin.
