Abstract: A connector for medical infusion/transfusion lines, catheters and the like, comprising a tubular body with a protection valve including an obturator formed by a resilient disk having a circumferential sealing edge normally co-operating under closing contact with an annular valve seat having a conical surface. On the side opposite to the annular valve seat, the obturator disk bears against an annular reaction surface of the body, and opening of the protection valve is operated by axial displacement of a tubular push member acting so as to press the central area of the obturator disk into the annular reaction surface thus elastically stretching it in the axial direction, whereby the circumferential sealing edge of the obturator disk radially retracts, moving away from the annular valve seat. Abstract: Transducer-protector device for biomedical haemodialysis lines includes a body of moulded plastic material having a first tubular connector of the female Luer Lock type with a conical inner surface and an outer threading and a second tubular connector. The connectors are provided with respective first and second radial flanges for their mutual permanent sealed connection and between which a filtering membrane of permeable material is interposed. The female Luer Lock connector with the respective outer threading is entirely formed of a material having higher elasticity than the material of the second tubular connector and is fixedly coupled to the respective radial flange by overmoulding.

Abstract: A gas-tight closure device for the connecting ends of tubes for biomedical fluid-transporting apparatus, particularly haemodialysis lines, which are sterilized by means of sterilizing gas, includes a tubular connector defining an internal Luer cone and a cap which is fitted to the connector. The hermetic closure of the connector by the cap is effected by means of complementary conical surfaces for the mutual force-coupling of the outer lateral wall of the connector and the inner wall of the cap.
