Abstract: In a computing device configured to be connected to a wireless network, a method of projecting an image via a projection device over the wireless network, is provided, wherein the projection device is connected to the wireless network via an image-rendering device configured to receive data over the wireless network. The method includes detecting the image-rendering device over the wireless network, presenting a display identifying the image-rendering device to a user, receiving selection of the image-rendering device by the user and sending data representing the image from the computing device to the image-rendering device over the wireless network for projection by the projection device.

Abstract: A rear projection display device. The display device includes a screen and a base to which the screen is mounted. The base includes a plurality of vents to allow air to flow in and out of the base, a heat source, and an air movement device to move air from near the screen, past the heat source, and out through the vents.
Abstract: Apparatuses, a system, and a method for rotatable coupling of components are disclosed herein. The apparatus may include a base having a mounting feature to couple the appparatus to a product housing and a through-hole to provide access to an interior cavity of the product housing. The apparatus may further include a flange, couple to the base having a surface and a plurality of detents disposed on the surface, the flange and the plurality of detents configured to rotatably couple to a pivot mate configured to complement one or more of the plurality of detents in a manner to allow the pivot mate to rotate from a first position relative to the apparatus to a second position creative to the apparatus.
Abstract: An apparatus comprises a first plug to couple the apparatus to a host connection and a second plug to couple the apparatus to a display connection. The apparatus further comprises a metallic transmission medium coupled to the first plug and link extender circuitry coupled to the metallic transmission medium and the second plug. The link extender circuitry including equalization circuitry coupled to the metallic transmission medium to restore voltage levels on signals transmitted on the metallic transmission medium, differential signaling receive circuitry coupled to the equalization circuitry; and differential signaling transmit circuitry coupled to the differential signaling receive circuitry and the second plug.
Abstract: The present invention provides a polarized colored light source for a display system in which light of other polarization states and colors are recycled. The color can be scrolled synchronously with a display. In one embodiment, the invention includes a tunnel having an entrance aperture facing a lamp to receive light having multiple polarization states from the lamp and direct the light from the lamp to an exit aperture opposite the entrance aperture, the tunnel having a reflective face about the entrance aperture to reflect light within the tunnel toward the exit aperture, a reflective polarizer to reflect light of one polarization state toward the entrance aperture and transmit light of another polarization state, and a color reflector to transmit light within one color range and reflect light of another color range toward the entrance aperture.
Abstract: A network projector interface system is provided. In one embodiment, the system includes client software stored on a recordable medium and at least partially executable on a client computer on a network, where the client software provides a client interface configured to aid a user in directing a presentation file to a selected network projector. The system also includes presentation manager software stored on a recordable medium executable on the network, where the presentation manager software produces a presentation manager configured to manage storage and access to the presentation file, and a network projector coupled to a projector computer, where the projector computer is coupled to the network and communicates with the presentation manager to display the presentation file on the selected network projector.

Abstract: A system and method of displaying identification information for a projector system are disclosed. The method includes projecting a display onto a viewing surface with the projector system, and projecting an identification image onto the viewing surface over at least a part of the display with the projection system, wherein the identification image is configured to convey the identification information to a viewer.
Abstract: A display device is disclosed, wherein the display device comprises a light source configured to emit light, a projection lens configured to transfer the light to a display surface, at least one other optical element, and a lens disposed optically between the light source and the projection lens, wherein the lens is configured to enable a first transfer of the light from the light source to the at least one other optical element, and the lens is configured to enable a second transfer of the light from the at least one other optical element to the projection lens.
Abstract: A modular keypad assembly for use with a projection device is provided. This modular keypad assembly may include a user input through which a user may operate the projection device. Such a modular keypad assembly may include a elastomer keypad, a keypad support plate; and a keypad circuit board.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a projector assembly including a projection device adapted to project an image, and a user-interface in communication with the projection device. The user-interface may be adapted to privately present user-readable information to a user.
Abstract: A docking station for a portable media player. The docking station includes a docking connector to physically secure the portable media player and a communication interface to communicatively couple the portable media player to the docking station when the docking connector is physically securing the portable media player. A projection module operably linked to the communication interface and configured to receive video information from the portable media player via the communication interface projects a video image derived from the video information away from the docking station onto a viewing surface.
