    Abstract: The present invention provides a method for preparing a 6-aminohexyl lactoside-NOTA conjugate. The preparation method comprises brominating perbenzoylated lactose with hydrobromic acid; glycosylating 6-azidohexanol to obtain 6-azidohexyl perbenzoyl lactoside; and deprotecting this precursor in two steps to obtain 6-aminohexyl lactoside and conjugating 6-aminohexyl lactoside to NCS-benzyl-NODA GA (i.e. 2,2?-(7-(1-carboxy-4-((4-isothiocyanate benzyl) amino)-4-oxobutyl)-1,4,7-triazonane-1,4-diyl) diacetic acid) in triethyl amine as an alkaline solvent, to obtain a 6-aminohexyl lactoside-NCS-benzyl-NODA GA conjugate. In this novel preparation method, no deglycosylated side product is produced, such that the yield is considerably increased to 46%. Therefore, the method is suitable for future massive production since the requirement for repeated preparations for massive production is reduced, and the impurities produced in the previously scaled-up preparation process are not present.

Through appropriately adjusting the internal pressure of the internal-pressure-variable cylinder, the cylinder would perform as a linear elastic device with proper elastic coefficient to fully or partially compensate the gravitational effect of the manipulator system and the load it holds. Thus, the proposed invention can fully or partially compensate the gravitational effect of the manipulator system at different loading conditions without changing its geometric configuration.

    Abstract: A method is provided to enhance efficiency of carbon felts in a flow battery. The carbon felts are directly immersed in a mixed acid solution. The carbon felts with the solution are heated at a low temperature and processed through sonication. On surface defects of the carbon felts, —OH and C?O functional groups are efficiently generated. The functional groups catalyze the redox reaction of vanadium ions. More active positions are obtained on the carbon felts through the activation treatment. Both of valence exchange and redox velocity of the vanadium ions are enhanced. Thus, the present invention has simple and fast processes with easily regulated experimental parameters for good modification without high temperature treatment but low cost.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a strontium magnesium molybdenum oxide material having perovskite structure and the method for preparing the same. Citric acid is adopted as the chelating agent. By using sol-gel pyrolysis and replacing a portion of strontium in Sr2MgMoO6-? by cerium and a portion of magnesium by copper, a material with a chemical formula of Sr2-xCexMg1-yCuyMoO6-? is produced, where 0?x<2, 0<y<1, and 0<?<6. Thereby, the electrical conductivity of the material is improved. The perovskite-type cerium- and copper-replaced strontium magnesium molybdenum oxide significantly increases the electrical conductivity of the material and can be applied as the anode material for solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC).

    Abstract: An apparatus of hydrocarbon fuel reactors separates and purifies carbon dioxide (CO2). Interconnected fluidized beds are applied in chemical-looping combustion. A multi-stage reduction reaction is processed with iron-based oxygen carriers. Three reduction stages using the iron-based oxygen carriers are accurately and completely controlled. Each of the three stages is separately processed in an individual space. Oxygen in the iron-based oxygen carriers can be fully released. High-purity CO2 is obtained. Hydrogen can be produced as an option. Horizontal connection of three reduction reactors is changed into vertical one. An oxidation reactor is further connected. Thus, the whole structure occupies less area and effectively uses vertical space. Not only small space is effectively used; but also high-volume capacity is obtained. Each of the reactors has better geometry flexibility. The tandem reactor in each layer has less geometric influence and limitation.

The contrast agent precursor also includes a 2-nitroimidazole that allows the precursor to become retained in hypoxic tissues According to the features mentioned above, the contrast agent prepared by the precursor has a better binding specificity, labeling accuracy and detection sensitivity. Moreover, a method for preparing the contrast agent precursor not only solves the emulsion problem generated during conventional synthesis of intermediate products but also provides a solution to the problem of residual trifluoroacetic acid. Both the yield rate and the purity of the final product are also improved.

An external-convection blocking device is used to temporarily isolate the dry storage system or the dry storage canister from the ambient environment to form an isolated space. A gas sampling-and-analyzing device is connected to the isolated space to measure the leak rate or concentration of helium or radioactive gases which release from the dry storage canister. After the leak rate or concentration of helium or radioactive gases is measured, the integrity of the confinement boundary of the dry storage canister can be verified to further enhance the safety of the spent nuclear fuel dry storage.

By using multiple ways, the circulation rate of solids can be improved substantially. The reactor uses interconnected fluidized beds (IFB) in chemical-looping combustion for multi-stage reduction reactions of an iron-based oxygen carrier, namely hematite (Fe2O3). Three-phase reduction reactions of Fe2O3 are accurately and completely controlled. The three-phase reduction reactions are separately processed while oxygen in Fe2O3 is fully released. Carbon dioxide with high purity is further obtained while hydrogen can be generated as a byproduct under a certain condition. Hence, the present invention has fast throughput, high-efficiency operation and low cost.
