Abstract: Antibody-free processes are disclosed that provide accurate quantification of a wide variety of low-abundance target analytes in complex samples. The processes can employ high-pressure, high-resolution chromatographic separations for analyte enrichment. Intelligent selection of target fractions may be performed via on-line Selected Reaction Monitoring (SRM) or off-line rapid screening of internal standards. Quantification may be performed on individual or multiplexed fractions. Applications include analyses of, e.g., very low abundance proteins or candidate biomarkers in plasma, cell, or tissue samples without the need for affinity-specific reagents.

Abstract: A resist film structure is provided, which allows a resist layer to have improved photosensitivity to EUV or electron beams without changing the photosensitivity of the resist material itself. A metal layer 1 with a thickness as small as a nanometer level is provided on a resist polymer layer 2 formed on a substrate 3. When the resist layer in this structure is exposed to light, the metal layer 1 produces a surface plasmon effect to enhance the irradiation to the resist film, so that the photosensitivity of the resist film is improved.

Abstract: A first oscillation circuit in which a helical antenna is used as a part of an element for a resonance circuit and a second oscillation circuit in which a loop antenna is used as a part of an element for a resonance circuit are caused to oscillate at substantially the same frequency. When a human body approaches the helical antenna and the loop antenna, the frequency difference between the first oscillation circuit and the second oscillation circuit increases. This frequency difference is extracted using a BPF.
