Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a method of color palette coding and an electronic device using the same method. The proposed method would include not limited to encoding, by using a processor, a bit stream to represent a color of a coding unit and storing the bit stream in a storage medium or transmitting the bit stream. The bit stream would include not limited to a binary bit representing a run flag, a N binary bit sequence representing up to 2N major colors in a coding unit with each of the possible values of the N binary bit sequence representing an unique major color index of N major color indices, and a M binary bit sequence representing up to 2M extended colors with each of the possible values of the M binary bit sequence representing an unique extended color index of M extended color indices.

Both of the Salmonella paratyphi A O-polysaccharide-recombinant fusion protein conjugate vaccines rCTB45733-OPSSpty50973 and rEPA4573-OPSSpty50973 as prepared by using Salmonella Paratyphi A with an O-antigen having an extended carbohydrate chain can induce mice to generate specific antibodies against Salmonella paratyphi A, and their antibody titers are significantly improved.

Abstract: An apparatus for measuring a curvature of a thin film includes a light emitting module, a first optical module, a second optical module, a third optical module, and an image analysis module. The light emitting module emits a single laser to be used as an incident light. The incident light is transmitted through a first optical path provided by the first optical module, then the incident light is guided by the second optical module to be incident to the thin film through a second optical path. A reflected light reflected by the thin film is transmitted through the second optical path, then guided by the third optical module to be transmitted along a third optical path. The image analysis module determines the curvature of the thin film according to the characteristic of the reflected light.

A geological structure formed by a control deposit can be identified and qualitatively interpreted, a potential deposit type and attributes of the structure are determined according to prior knowledge of an area to be researched, and different types of tectonic frameworks are screened, thereby achieving target area localization of a metal deposit.

Abstract: A gaze tracking system uses visible light to track the pose of an eye. A display screen displays a display image, while a camera captures images of the eye. The images captured by the camera include a reflection of the display screen, reflecting from the cornea of the eye. The position of the reflection depends on the orientation of the eye. The system is trained on a set of training images. Each training image is captured by the camera while the eye looks at a different, known gaze point in the display screen. The system may track gaze of the eye, while the eye is looking at a calibrated image that has been displayed during training. Or the system may track gaze of an eye looking at a new, uncalibrated image, such as an image in a video.
Abstract: An optical device module includes a substrate, an interlayer insulating layer on the substrate, an optical waveguide on the interlayer insulating layer, an optical device on the optical waveguide, and a prism disposed between the optical device and the optical waveguide. The prism has a refractive index greater than a refractive index of the optical waveguide.
