    Abstract: A method of modeling a radio wave environment, the method being executed by a radio wave environment modeling apparatus using a group of intelligent robots includes measuring an intensity of radio waves received from at least one follower robot; measuring a distance between the at least one follower robot and a leader robot that belongs to the group of intelligent robots; and estimating an environment parameter using a wave model. Further, the method includes classifying the environment parameter estimated from at least one lattice by comparing the estimated environment parameter with predetermined environment parameters; and analogizing an intensity of radio waves of the at least one follower robot that are received from the at least one lattice.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for designing a display for user interaction. The proposed apparatus includes an input unit for receiving physical information of a user and a condition depending on a working environment. A space selection unit selects an optimal near-body work space corresponding to the condition received by the input unit. A space search unit calculates an overlapping area between a viewing frustum space, defined by a relationship between a gaze of the user and an optical system of a display enabling a 3D image to be displayed, and the optimal near-body work space selected by the space selection unit. A location selection unit selects a location of a virtual screen based on results of calculation. An optical system production unit produces an optical system in which the virtual screen is located at the location selected by the location selection unit.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a power management apparatus and a multi-source energy harvesting system using the apparatus, which manage power supplied by individual harvesting sources without wasting the power, thus efficiently distributing the power to a battery. The power management apparatus includes a plurality of comparison units configured to compare voltages of storage devices respectively connected to output terminals of a plurality of harvesting power sources with a preset threshold voltage. A control unit is configured to control an operation of the power management apparatus. A plurality of switching units are installed between the storage devices and a battery and are configured to be turned on/off in response to switching control signals output from the control unit and to form power transmission paths between corresponding storage devices and the battery. The control unit generates and provides the switching control signals based on output signals of the comparison units.

    Abstract: A pulsating multi-pipe heat pipe having its metal pipes arranged in-parallel and bent in snake-shaped loop, is capable of making the working fluid flow through the pulsating multi-pipe heat pipe, enhance the pressure difference therein so as to improve its heat-dissipating effect and successfully overcome the problems of horizontal action when the heat pipe is laid in horizontal position.     Abstract: An apparatus for an in-vivo power generation comprises a fuel convertor for converting glucose in a fluid to a hydrogen rich, low carbon fuel such as ethanol or methanol by the action of a bioenzyme on the glucose in the CSF. The fluid can be any one of cerebro spinal fluid, urine and glucose solution. The apparatus further comprises a biofuel cell comprising a cathode chamber and an anode chamber with a membrane assembly sandwiched between them. The membrane assembly comprises a cathode, an anode and a proton exchange membrane. The cathode is coated with an enzyme laccase, which enables extraction of oxygen when the fluid is passed through the cathode chamber. The oxygen from the cathode chamber and the hydrogen in the hydrogen rich fuel from the anode chamber diffuses through the proton exchange membrane and reacts at an ionic level to result in water and electrical power.

The present invention may manufacture an aluminum-zinc-based alloy sheet, in which twin-roll casting is known to be difficult due to a wide solid-liquid coexistence region, by twin-roll casting by using cooling rolls having high thermal conductivity and controlling a reduction force by the rotational speed of the rolls.
