  • Publication number: 20140245399
Abstract: In the present invention, a control section of a CRM server performs editing processing for TPO (the time, the place, and the occasion) requirements. Next, a control section of a TPO server registers the TPO requirements in order to convert the same to TPO definitions. Then, the control section performs setting processing for the TPO definitions. A portable terminal identifies the current location and the current time. Then, a control section verifies TPO definition state transitioning. If transitioning of the TPO definition state is detected, the control section performs TPO definition state transition notification processing. The control section of the portable terminal performs individual control processing on the basis of the TPO definitions.

  • Publication number: 20140239385
Abstract: A Field Effect Transistor (FET) and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The FET may include a substrate; a source and a drain, one of which is formed on a bulge formed on a top surface of the substrate, and the other of which is formed in the substrate below but laterally offset from the bulge; a gate formed at a position where the bulge and the top surface of the substrate join each other; and a gate dielectric layer formed between the gate and the bulge and also between the gate and the top surface of the substrate. The FET has a vertical configuration, where the source is disposed on top of the bulge while the drain is disposed in the substrate, that is, the source and the drain are not in one same plane. As a result, the FET may have its area significantly reduced. Therefore, it is possible to improve an integration density of an IC and thus reduce cost.

Abstract: The present invention relates to regulation of cardiac contractile function. The present invention is based on the discovery that microRNAs contribute to the loss of cardiac contractility. Specifically, miR-25 binds to SERCA2a which results in a loss of function and interferes with Ca2+ handling. Accordingly, the present invention relates to methods of increasing cardiac contractile function by inhibiting miR-25. The invention further provides methods to identify agents that can modulate miR-25 activity, including high throughput screening methods, and provides a means to identify agents that are useful for treating patients having cardiac contractile function associated disorders.

Abstract: Bipolar wave current, is used to electrodeposit a nanocrystalline grain size. Polarity Ratio is the ratio of absolute value of time integrated amplitude of negative and positive polarity current. Grain size can be controlled in alloys of two or more components, at least one of which is a metal, and at least one of which is most electro-active, such as nickel and tungsten and molybdenum. Typically, the more electro-active material is preferentially lessened during negative current. Coatings can be layered, each having an average grain size, which can vary layer to layer and also graded through a region. Deposits can be substantially free of either cracks or voids.
