    Abstract: A method records and transmits data between a transmission unit that has a first antenna and a measurement module which has a sensor for recording measured variables and converts the measured variables into electric signals. Data is bi-directionally transmitted between the measurement module and the transmission unit located within the near field of the measurement module by use of a second antenna that is arranged on the measurement module. The electromagnetic energy of the signal that is applied to the second antenna is transformed and temporarily stored by a reception unit which is arranged downstream of the second antenna. The first antenna of the transmission unit is put in an inactive state at least during the time the measured variables are sensed by the measurement module or the sensors.

    Abstract: An agglomerated zeolite adsorbent which comprises 95-99.5 mass % of X zeolite and 0.5-5.0 mass % of binder, wherein the exchangeable cationic sites of said X zeolite are occupied by Group IIA metal and/or K, the total pore volume of said adsorbent is no less than 0.26 mL/g as measured by mercury porosimetry, the volume of pores with pore diameters from 100 to 500 nm is at least 60% based on the total pore volume. During shaping, a pore-forming agent is added to this adsorbent, and then the adsorbent is alkali treated for in-situ crystallization, followed by ion exchange. Said adsorbent has high adsorption capacity, fast mass transfer rate and good mechanical strength. Said adsorbent is suitable for liquid phase adsorptive separation of para-xylene from C8 aromatic hydrocarbons and is also suitable for adsorptive separation of other alkyl aromatic hydrocarbons isomers.

A compression spring such as a wave spring (60), is positioned to engage the piston only near the end of its downward stroke, to smoothly reverse the piston motion, limit downward force on the patient at the end of the stroke, and avoid a downward pulse due to the momentum of the downwardly-moving piston. A stop (90, 92) is latchable in an inward position to allow reduction in the piston stroke by engaging an outward flange (56) on the piston before the piston has moved fully downward.
