    Abstract: An automated calibration system for a workpiece coordinate frame of a robot includes a physical image sensor having a first image central axis, and a controller for controlling the physical image sensor adapted on a robot to rotate by an angle to set up a virtual image sensor having a second image central axis. The first and the second image central axes are intersected at an intersection point. The controller controls the robot to repeatedly move back and forth a characteristic point on the workpiece between these two axes until the characteristic point overlaps the intersection point. The controller records a calibration point including coordinates of joints of the robot, then the controller moves another characteristic point and repeats the foregoing movement to generate several other calibration points. According to the calibration points, the controller calculates relative coordinates of a virtual tool center point and the workpiece to the robot.

The method includes: obtaining geological factors acting on a porosity of a deep/ultra-deep marine carbonate reservoir, standardizing absolute values of the geological factors; calculating a porosity of the deep/ultra-deep marine carbonate reservoir; acquiring ratios of oil, water and dry layers in each M % porosity interval, and acquiring a relationship between a dry layer ratio and the porosity of the deep/ultra-deep marine carbonate reservoir; recursively obtaining a relationship between the dry layer ratio and the burial depth and determining the oil accumulation depth limit of the deep/ultra-deep marine carbonate reservoir. The method, system and device solves the problem that the prior art cannot by predicting the oil accumulation depth limit directly through the relationship between the dry layer ratio and the depth.

The present invention can improve the determining precision of the content of the lost gas.

The detection method includes: (1): mixing 10-30 mg of a selenoprotein sample with hydrochloric acid, and hydrolyzing with microwaves at 140-170° C. for 10-40 min to obtain a hydrolysate; (2): adjusting pH of the hydrolysate to 6-8 to obtain a pretreated solution; and, (3): detecting a selenoamino acid in the pretreated solution with high performance liquid chromatography-hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HPLC-HG-AFS) to obtain a content of the selenoamino acid. The method is simple in operation and provides an accurate and reliable result, and also reduces time and cost.

    Abstract: A four-wheeled articulated steering vehicle for terrain exploration. The four-wheeled articulated steering vehicle has a pair of robotic tethered two-wheel vehicles that dock, lock, and drive long distances as the four-wheeled, articulated steering vehicle. Two actuated docking mechanisms attached on opposite ends of a central module of the four-wheeled vehicle enable “sit/stand” functionality. The “sit” configuration is achieved by aligning each dock mechanism parallel or nearly parallel to the surface, allowing two-wheel vehicle to detach and explore while the other remains docked and serves as a backup. While ‘sitting’, the central module rests on the ground and is outfitted with shovel-style wedges for passive anchoring. In order to “stand”, the exploring two-wheel vehicle reattaches, locks, and both dock mechanisms are rotated until each two-wheel vehicle's caster arm is upright and the central module is lifted off the ground.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for providing optical quantum communication networks based on rare-earth ion quantum bits (qubits) entrapped in solids are presented. According to one aspect a qubit is provided by an 171Yb3+ ion doped into a YVO crystal structure. A nanophotonic cavity fabricated in the doped crystal structure provides a zero-field energy level structure of the ion with optical transitions between ground and excited states at a wavelength longer than 980 nm. A subspace of the qubit is provided by two lower energy levels at the ground states separated by a microwave frequency of about 675 MHz. Addressing of the optical transitions is via first and second lasers and addressing of microwave transitions at the ground and excited states are via respective microwave sources. A single-shot readout sequence of the qubit based on two consecutive readout sequences on the optical transitions separated by a microwave pumping of the ground states is presented.

    Abstract: A system and method for controlling the delivery of ultrasound energy to a subject is provided. In particular, such a system and method are capable of safely disrupting the blood-brain barrier. Ultrasound energy is delivered to produce cavitation of an ultrasound contrast agent at a selected pressure value. An acoustic signal is acquired following cavitation, from which a signal spectrum is produced. The signal spectrum is analyzed for the presence of harmonics, such as subharmonics or ultraharmonics. When subharmonics or ultraharmonics are present, the pressure value is decreased for subsequent sonications. If a previous sonication resulted in no subharmonics or ultraharmonics being generated, then the pressure value may be increased. In this manner, the blood-brain barrier can be advantageously disrupted while mitigating potentially injurious effects of the sonication.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a process of cultivating microalgae and a joint method of same jointed with denitration. During the microalgae cultivation, EM bacteria is added into the microalgae suspension. In the nutrient stream for cultivating microalgae, at least one of the nitrogen source, phosphorus source and carbon source is provided in the form of a nutrient salt. During the cultivation, the pH of the microalgae suspension is adjusted with nitric acid and/or nitrous acid. The joint method includes (1) a step of cultivating microalgae; (2) a separation step of separating a microalgae suspension obtained from step (1) into a wet microalgae (microalgae biomass) and a residual cultivation solution; and (3) a NOx absorbing/immobilizing step of denitrating an industrial waste gas with the residual cultivation solution obtained from step (2). The nutrient stream absorbed with NOx obtained from step (3) is used to provide nitrogen source to the microalgae cultivation of step (1).
