    Abstract: A physician prescribes an ocular imaging unit to a patient, which the patient sets up in the home to self-monitor his/her ocular anatomy. Typically, the unit connects to a smartphone, and the patient can use an app to operate the system. When the patient experiences a problem with his/her eyes, the patient initiates a remote evaluation, and the system transmits an alert to a remotely located physician, signifying the need for a pre-diagnostic evaluation. The physician then performs an initial evaluation remotely over the Internet using the home ocular imaging unit to obtain images or live video of the patient's ocular anatomy. The physician remotely makes a pre-diagnostic assessment regarding whether an in-person diagnostic examination of the ocular anatomy is warranted, and then communicates this to the patient. In some cases, the imaging unit captures images, both of the retinas and exteriors of the eyes, and also performs vision tests.

    Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure provide a message relay service. The message relay service provides an application programming interface (API) with which messages can be sent and received without handling specific implementation details of a messaging system. When inbound messages are received, the message relay service may provide a push notification and/or may store the message for later access. In examples, one or more source addresses are used to send messages. If the client device indicates a group of addresses should be used, one address is selected from the group and used to send a message accordingly. In some examples, the message relay service determines that a messaging gateway need not be used to message a recipient address, and transmits the message without use of the messaging gateway. The same API may be used to send and receive messages across different messaging systems without a customer handling system-specific complexities.

    Abstract: Geiger mode avalanche photo diodes are solid state photodetectors that are able to detect single photons. Such Geiger mode avalanche photo diodes are also referred to as single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs). An array of SPADs can be used as a single detector element in an active sensing system, but camera/sensor systems based on SPAD arrays have at least two shortcomings due to ambient light. First, solar background light can hamper the ability to accurately determine depth. Second, ambient light impacts the reflectivity precision because of challenges differentiating between reflected light and ambient light. Embodiments enable active sensors that remove the ambient signal from a sensor's optical input. Other embodiments produce sensor intensity values that have higher precision than typical SPAD array devices. Further embodiments produce sensor depth values that have higher precision than typical SPAD array devices.

    Abstract: A system and method for mitigating anomalies in a network device. One or a combination of mitigation actions may be pre-programmed into a plurality of customer premises equipment (CPE) devices. The mitigation actions may be available as temporary or permanent work arounds as problems are detected that match known or discovered patterns of log events. Unsupervised machine learning techniques may be used to identify and correlate new patterns of log events with device anomalies or malfunctions. When a new pattern of log events is discovered and correlated to an anomaly or malfunction in a group of CPE devices, the discovered pattern may be written to the group of CPE devices with instructions to use particular ones of the mitigation actions. The CPE devices can then, in examples, monitor their own logs to detect the patterns and implement one or more of the mitigation actions.

The nozzle head includes an internal cavity and a nozzle portion including an opening on one side of the nozzle portion that directs the cutting fluids out the internal cavity in a first radial direction to produce a reaction force on the apparatus in an opposite second radial direction. The reaction force moves the apparatus in the second radial direction to be against an inner wall of the tubular and temporarily anchors the apparatus against the inner wall. The nozzle head is movable via the pressure and the cutting fluids from a closed position within the nozzle section to an open position in which the nozzle portion protrudes out of the nozzle section so that the opening is exposed to the tubular for directing the cutting fluids onto the tubular.

Each router of the AS may be assigned a router identifier (ID) that is unique to the AS and may be periodically changed. A threat intelligence system may sample packets of traffic received by the AS and examine the inserted ingress router IDs in making a threat determination.
