Patent number: 11333310Abstract: A light assembly mountable in an aperture formed in a railing or a light fixture. The light assembly may include a housing, first and second clamps, and first and second fasteners. The first fastener may couple the first clamp to the housing, and the second fastener may couple the second clamp to the housing. When the fasteners are rotated, the respective clamps pivot outward and move towards the railing or light fixture to retain the light assembly in the railing or the fixture. The light assembly may be removable from the aperture in the railing or the fixture.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 2021Date of Patent: May 17, 2022Assignee: Intense Lighting, LLCInventors: Eric J. Publication number: 20170307189Abstract: A lighting fixture having an adjustable collar for accommodating different ceiling thicknesses is provided. The lighting fixture preferably includes a light module, a plaster frame, first and second support arms extending from the plaster frame, a U-shaped support assembly, an adjustment assembly for coupling the support assembly to the first and second support arms, and the collar. The adjustment assembly enabling the support assembly and the adjustable collar to be selectively movable along an axis perpendicular to the plaster frame. The adjustment assembly being configured so that, in a first configuration, the support assembly along with the light module and the collar are movable along the axis, and in a second configuration, the support assembly along with the light module and the collar are fixed to the first and second support arms so that a bottom end of the collar extends beyond a bottom surface of the plaster frame.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 19, 2016Publication date: October 26, 2017Applicant: Intense Lighting, LLCInventors: Kevin Brian Eidsvold, Aida Spremo, Jonathan Spicer

Patent number: 8235554Abstract: Provided is a light fixture having a first elongate body defining a mounting surface. A light module is disposed adjacent the mounting surface and includes a module body and a plurality of light emitting devices disposed on the mounting body. The light emitting device defines an emitting axis about which light is emitted. The fixture further includes a first reflector member and a second reflector member disposed on opposed sides of the emitting axis for reflecting light emanated by the light emitting devices. The first reflector member and the second reflector member are pivotable to vary the angle at which light is emitted from the light fixture.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2009Date of Patent: August 7, 2012Assignee: Intense Lighting, LLCInventor: Thomas F. Publication number: 20070258233Abstract: A recessed ceiling mounted luminaire with a single piece, dual finish coating reflector designed to evenly illuminate vertical surfaces without the use of a lens medium, such as interiors walls of a building, utilizing vertical lamp sources mounted on a common down light frame and giving a common down light exterior visual appearance from the space below. Current art utilized modified downlight reflectors with an additional kicker reflector added to redirect only a portion of available light accordingly. This invention combines lessons learned by previous art with the ability to complete the task by using a single reflector design with added efficiency. This adds advantages not previously seen in this area of expertise including higher energy efficiency with better uniformity on all areas of the vertical surfaces.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 4, 2006Publication date: November 8, 2007Applicant: Intense Lighting, LLCInventor: Allan Gray
