  • Patent number: 10614673
Abstract: A convertible gaming system that can be switched for different methods between fully automatic play with no live dealer and semi-automatic play with a live dealer and electronic wagering from player input controls. The system may include a table top; multiple independent player input positions; and a processor. Both an automatic card randomization and delivery for view-only system, and a semi-automatic system including communication link on the table top for engagement with a delivery shoe having or providing knowledge of playing card suit and rank for delivery to multiple independent player positions for use in a wagering event are provided. The processor is configured to determine individual hand count and/or hand rank at the multiple independent player positions for use in determining wagering event outcomes whether the playing card hand count or hand rank is transmitted from the automatic system or the semi-automatic system.

  • Patent number: 10417857
Abstract: An electronic gaming system with a visual display system has a player input station for at least entering wagers on an underlying wagering event. The system includes a processor providing signal content to the visual display system. The player input station further has an electronic-field communication input device that is simultaneously responsive to a player's hand movements in three dimensions and with respect to velocity. A communication link exists from the electronic-field communication input device to the processor and then to the visual display system to provide image signals transmitted from the processor to the visual display system. The image signals are varied in response to sensed hand movements in at least one of the three dimensions and velocity, wherein the visual display system displays an image varied in response to sensed hand movements. The caused variations have no effect on a random outcome in the underlying wagering event.

  • Patent number: 9721437
Abstract: A gaming apparatus has both a base wagering game apparatus with a processor, symbol display component and player input controls, and a secondary game element visible from the base wagering game. The secondary game element has a see-through container that is liquid proof, a fluid source and a pump to move fluid into and out of the see-through container. Winning outcomes in the base wagering game cause the pump in the secondary game element to change a visible volume of liquid within the container so that a changed level of liquid within the container can be seen. When a predetermined level of liquid is attained within the container, a bonus payment or bonus game is initiated as a resolution of wagers placed through the player input controls.

  • Publication number: 20170092069
Abstract: A gaming apparatus having electronic input controls therein includes: a player input panel; a video display system; and a gaming processor. The player input panel may have a first input control specific to providing a command to the gaming processor and the player input panel. The command enables a second player input control on the player input panel. This second player input control is specific to alteration of game play so that physical activity at the player panel will enter commands to the gaming controller to execute gaming play without placing any economic value at risk during a demonstration period. The gaming processor allows the demonstration period to continue for only a predetermined time limit or event occurrence that does not result in resolution of a wager.
