Abstract: In a square array with a modulus (M), the plug-in building blocks of the building set have protruding connecting pins (1) and corresponding mating connecting sockets. In order that bendproof trusses can also be built, the building set has single-row connecting bars (34) with two terminal pins (35), whose spacing from one another amounts to .sqroot.2 times an integral multiple of the modulus (M), and girder elements (10), which at two bordering sides faces (13, 14) each have a single row of pins with modular spacing and parallel to these side faces each have a projection (19) set back by the thickness of the connecting bar (34). In this way, stable, aesthetically appealing trussings can be built with the building set.
Abstract: In a toy figure with body parts movable in various directions the body parts (in the embodiment shown the legs) are connected with the body in a manner known per se by means of a socket (13) designed to receive a ball (6). To ensure long-term frictional stability between the movable parts, the body part (9) is formed with a pair of opposed walls (10,11) designed to squeeze an engagement face (7) which is contiguous with the ball (6 l ).
Abstract: A toy building set for building tree-like models and comprising partly a trunk element (FIG. 2), partly a branch element. The trunk element comprises a trunk portion (2) and projecting branches (3, 4) having coupling means (5, 6) spaced from the trunk portion (2). The branch element comprises a plurality of connecting bars (7-11), at whose ends coupling bushings (12) are provided. These bushings are formed with primary and secondary coupling means (17, 18), respectively, so that the branch elements may be interconnected and connected with the trunk elements. Preferably, said bars have additional branching portions (19, 20) whose ends are provided with bushings (21, 22) similar to the coupling bushings (12).
