Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for a team-based approach to skills-based agent assignment in task routing systems. According to one embodiment, performing skills-based task assignments in a task routing system can comprise identifying a team of agents. The team of agents can comprise a plurality of agents handling a currently assigned task but expected to become available for assignment of a new task. Each agent of the team of agents can be earmarked to one of a plurality of new tasks selected from a queue of tasks. At some point, one of the agents of the team can be detected as being available and the agent detected as being available can be assigned to one of the plurality of new tasks based at least in part on consideration of the earmarking of the agents of the team to the plurality of new tasks.

Abstract: A system that generates an item-to-item similarity for a category that includes a plurality of products receives attribute values for each product in the category and product-store-week sales units for each product in the category. The system estimates attribute weights. The system then determines the item-to-item similarity as a weighted attribute match score.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an automated scheme for generating and verifying a three-dimensional (3D) representation of a target space. In one embodiment, the automatic generation of a 3D representation of a target space includes receiving target space data from one or more mobile data capture devices and generating a local point cloud from the target space data. In one embodiment, the local point cloud is incorporated into a master point cloud. In one embodiment, a polygon mesh is generated using the master point cloud and the polygon mesh is rendered, using a plurality of visual images captured from the target space, which generates the 3D representation. In one embodiment, the automatic verification includes comparing a portion of the 3D representation with a portion of an approved layout, and identifying one or more discrepancies between the portion of the 3D representation and the portion of the approved layout.
Abstract: A social media location posting system a payment card transaction authorization processor and a location posting service processor. The payment card transaction authorization processor is configured to receive over a network a payment card transaction authorization request for a cardholder and store in a computer storage file associated with the cardholder payment card transaction data included in the authorization request. The location service processor is configured to post over the network at least a portion the payment card transaction data stored in the file associated with the cardholder to a social media site associated with the cardholder.
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for data mining and analytics from social networking sites. One method commences upon receiving a social event from a first social networking site, classifying the social event to determine a social site action, and modifying at least some aspect of the social event to create a modified social event based at least in part on the classification. The modified social event is broadcasted to additional social networking sites. An incoming social event may be subjected to security processing before classification, and social networking sites to receive a broadcasted message may be determined based at least in part on the classification.

Abstract: A system and method can support efficient packet processing in a network environment. The system can comprise a direct memory access (DMA) resources pool that comprises one or more of DMA resources. Furthermore, the system can use a plurality of packet buffers in a memory, wherein each said DMA resource can point to a chain of packet buffers in the memory. Here, the chain of packet buffers can be implemented based on either a linked list data structure and/or a linear array data structure. Additionally, each said DMA resource allows a packet processing thread to access the chain of packet buffers using a pre-assigned thread key.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to visually contrasting aesthetic particles having increased water solubility, particularly useful for combination with granular laundry detergent composition.
Abstract: A system and method can support dynamic provisioning in a network switch environment, such as supporting virtualized switch clasification tables in a network switch. The system can provide a plurality of memory blocks that can be used to build one or more classification tables for supporting packet processing. Furthermore, the system can comprise a management entity that operates to monitor traffic profile associated with a network port in the network switch. Then, the management entity can allocate one or more memory blocks in the plurality of memory blocks for a logical classification table, and associate the logical classification table with the network port.
Abstract: A method of reinstating requisition demands using information from a canceled purchase order in an enterprise accounting computer system may include identifying canceled purchase order distributions in the canceled purchase order. The method may also include generating new requisition distributions based on the canceled purchase order distributions, and generating new requisition lines for the new requisition distributions. The method may further include generating one or more new purchase orders based on the new requisition lines.
Abstract: A system and method can support efficient packet processing in a network environment. The system can comprise a thread scheduling engine that operates to assign a thread key to each software thread in a plurality of software threads. Furthermore, the system can comprise a pool of direct memory access (DMA) resources that can be used to process packets in the network environment. Additionally, each said software thread operates to request access to a DMA resource in the pool of DMA resources by presenting an assigned thread key, and a single software thread is allowed to access multiple DMA resources using the same thread key.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to processes for the recovery of ethanol from a crude ethanol product obtained from the hydrogenation of acetic acid using a low energy process. The crude ethanol product is separated in one or more columns. At least one of the columns is operated at a controlled pressure to enhance separation of ethanol and organics. In one embodiment, there are at least two columns that operate at controlled pressures.

Abstract: A system for generating audio impressions of data for a visually-impaired user. The system receives data that is displayable by a chart. The data comprises a plurality of values. The system generates an audio impression of the received data. The audio impression includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is based upon at least a first value of the received data. The second portion is based upon at least a second value of the received data. An audible difference between the first portion and the second portion reflects the magnitude of a difference between the first value and the second value.
Abstract: A computer-readable medium, computer-implemented method, and apparatus are provided. In one embodiment, financial data is extracted from a financial manager, and the financial data is mapped to compliance data from a compliance manager. One or more controls of one or more accounts from compliance data is selected to be in scope, and an assessment plan is created for the selected one or more controls within scope.

Abstract: A mounting system includes a cradle disposed in a headrest in a vehicle, and a primary adapter. The cradle is shaped and dimensioned to receive the primary adapter. The primary adapter includes first to fourth lips forming a recess in the primary adapter. The recess is shaped and dimensioned to receive a first computing device or a secondary adapter. The first computing device, or a bezel of the secondary adapter, is substantially flush with an outer surface of the headrest upon mounting the first computing device or the secondary adapter to the primary adapter.
Abstract: Techniques for monitoring resources of a computer system are provided. A monitoring process collects and reports utilization data for one or more resources of a computer system, such as CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network I/O. Instead of reporting just an average of the collected data over a period of time (e.g., 10 seconds), the monitoring process at least reports individually collected resource utilization values. If one or more of the utilization values exceed specified thresholds for the respective resources, then an alert may be generated. In one approach, the monitoring process is made a real-time priority process in the computer system to ensure that the memory used by the monitoring process is not swapped out of memory. Also, being a real-time priority process ensures that the monitoring process obtains a CPU in order collect resource utilization data even when the computer system is in a starvation mode.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system for managing business responsibilities. During operation, the system receives a user request for a business responsibility and forwards the request to a managing entity, thereby allowing the managing entity to approve or deny the request. If the managing entity approves the user's request, the system identifies one or more resources corresponding to the requested business responsibility, and provisions the credentials required to access the identified resources, thereby allowing the user to access the business responsibility without managing the required credentials. The system further notifies the user that the requested business responsibility is accessible. If the managing entity denies the user's request, the system notifies the user that the request is denied.
