Abstract: A system and method for providing card verification values for card-not-present transactions is described. In one example, a user's computing device stores single-use CVVs to be provided from a secure wallet. The secure wallet may be software running on the user's computing device. Alternatively, it may be an external device connectable to the user's computing device, which accesses the external device to obtain the single-use CVV.

Abstract: A system for secure information storage and delivery includes a vault repository that includes a secure vault associated with a user, wherein the secure vault is associated with a service level including at least one of a data type or a data size limit associated with the secure vault, the secure vault being adapted to receive and at least one data entry and securely store the at least one data entry if the at least one of a size or a type of the at least one data entry is consistent with the service level. A mobile vault server coupled to the vault repository creates a mobile vault on a mobile device based on the secure vault and is capable of authenticating the mobile device based on user authentication information. The mobile vault server includes a mobile device handler that communicates with the mobile device.

Abstract: An enterprising identity thief may open new credit accounts in a consumer's name and then place a credit freeze on a consumer's credit file, thus making it more difficult to detect or remedy the identity theft. This problem may be solved by automatically requesting a security freeze at each of the three main credit bureaus upon the enrollment of a consumer with the service provider. The requesting of the security freeze may result in the credit bureau generating an identification code for the consumer at each of the credit bureaus. The service provider then may immediately request that the security freeze be removed. Accordingly, the consumer may gain control of the security freeze credentials from each credit bureau before the identity thief.

Abstract: An authentication utility may be provided to entities, such as businesses, organizations or even individuals, that require the identification, verification and control of the identity of another entity, for example, an individual, such as a consumer, employee, etc. The authentication utility may also determine and provide the financial and non-financial characteristics of an individual. Before entering into a relationship or transaction, an entity could verify the other party's identity with the authentication utility.

Abstract: A system for conducting background investigations is provided. The system present may a user interface to a user. A request for a service may be received via the user interface. The request for a service may include a request that a background investigation be performed on an individual. Initial information regarding a target of the investigation may be received. Based on the initial information, an identity of the target may be verified. If the identity of the target is verified, the investigation may be performed.

Abstract: An authentication utility may be provided to entities, such as businesses, organizations or even individuals, that require the identification, verification and control of the identity of another entity, for example, an individual, such as a consumer, employee, etc. The authentication utility may also determine and provide the financial and non-financial characteristics of an individual. Before entering into a relationship or transaction, an entity could verify the other party's identity with the authentication utility.
