Abstract: A welding process of an inflatable product is provided that includes using isolating members between first and second portions of weldable tensioning members to resist the first and second portions of the weldable tensioning structures being welded together during welding of the first portions to a first sheet of weldable material and welding of the second portions to a second sheet of weldable material.
Abstract: A pump is disposed within an inflatable chamber of an inflatable bed. The pump is recessed within the inflatable chamber and is offset from a faceplate, which in turn is connected to a portion of the inflatable bed. This arrangement results in less strain applied onto a peripheral panel of the inflatable chamber thereby maintaining the structural integrity of the inflatable bed.
Abstract: A pool includes a main pool body defining an inner cavity, and a pillar within the inner cavity which cooperates with the main pool body to define an annular lane therebetween. The pillar provides the pool greater functionality that extends beyond the scope of the traditional pool, such as by enabling a separate pool, a platform, or other structures to coexist with the annular lane within the inner cavity. Further, a flow generating device may be provided to generate a circulating water flow within the pool that moves around the annular lane.
Abstract: A water treatment system (10) includes an ozone generator (3) combined with an electrolytic chlorine generator (4010) in a compact, efficient and serviceable assembly. The system (10) may include a modular and replaceable ozone generator (3), which allows a damaged or non-functional ozone generator (3) to be quickly and efficiently replaced. In order to protect the ozone generator (3) from damage, a fail-safe drain valve assembly may also be provided which will expel backflowing pool water before it is allowed to backflow into the ozone generator (3). The water treatment system (10) may further include an insulated electrolytic chlorine generator (4010) that mitigates or eliminates leakage current for efficient operation.
Abstract: A ladder selectively allows or prevents user access to the ladder steps, such that the ladder can only be climbed when such access is allowed. For example, the ladder may only selectively allow ingress into a bathing enclosure, e.g., when operated by an adult, but always allows egress from the bathing enclosure by any user. The ladder includes one or more safety blocks moveable between a safety configuration, in which ingress is prevented or inhibited, and a ladder configuration, in which ingress and egress is permitted.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a pool ladder with an active protection mechanism. The ladder provides a switch positioned at a significant height from the ground such that children cannot easily reach the switch. When actuated, the switch unlocks a protective door for the ladder and the ladder can be moved to access the steps. As such, the ladder can effectively prevent children from unlocking the protective door and accessing the pool.
Abstract: An aeration nozzle for spraying water infused with air into an above-ground water cavity defined by a wall, comprising a nozzle body having at least a first internal conical portion including an upstream end and a downstream end, the downstream end being smaller than the upstream end, a water way extending through the nozzle body and the first internal conical portion, an air way extending through the nozzle body, the air way intercepting the water way within the nozzle body downstream of the first internal conical portion, and a check valve disposed along the air way that permits air to be pulled through the air way and into the water way by way of a vacuum force caused by water flowing within the water way through the first internal conical portion and prevents water from entering the air way.
Abstract: A multifunctional air pump is disclosed including an air pump assembly, a control module, and a remote user input for inflating and deflating an inflatable product. The air pump may be operated remotely for convenience. The air pump may also operate automatically to maintain the pressure of the inflatable product.
Abstract: An inflatable spa is disclosed having improved strength. A water cavity of the inflatable spa may receive massaging air bubbles and/or jetted water.
Abstract: A swimming pool ladder typically utilized with a large capacity swimming pool for enabling bathers to conveniently enter and exit the pool. In its most fundamental embodiment, the swimming pool ladder includes a first ladder section connected to a second ladder section by a top platform. Each ladder section includes a pair of J-shaped side rails for providing a ladder frame. A plurality of rung anchors are mounted upon each of the side rails for supporting a plurality of rungs. Each of the rung anchors includes a load bearing flange. Further, each of the rungs includes a pair of U-shaped openings and a pair of grooves formed within the U-shaped openings for receiving and cooperating with one of the run anchors and the corresponding load bearing flange. Finally, a plurality of retainer pins are provided for removably securing the rungs to the rung anchors.
