Abstract: An expansion device is disclosed which includes an input/output body, a connection part, a turning structure, and at least one slot. The input/output body at least includes a first and a second input/output module, where the first and the second input/output modules are respectively disposed on two opposite surfaces of the input/output body. The connection part is disposed on one side of the input/output body. The turning structure is disposed to connect the input/output body and the connection part, wherein the connection part and the input/output body are turnable on the turning structure. The at least one slot is disposed on the connection part and configured to hold at least one mobile device.

Abstract: A method for coordinating a tablet computer with at least one other tablet computer to play an audio/video file and a playing system using the same are proposed. The method includes: establishing a wireless connection between a tablet computer acting as a master computer and at least one other tablet computer acting as a slave computer; the master computer generating an arrangement signal at least according to an arrangement of positions of the tablet computers; the master computer generating at least two divisional signals according to the arrangement signal and an audio/video file, each corresponding to a portion of video frame in the audio/video file; the master computer transmitting the divisional signals to the slave computer to enable the master computer and the slave computer to respectively display the portion of video frame corresponding to the divisional signals; and the master computer transmitting a synchronizing signal to the slave computer.

Abstract: The invention provides a handheld projector and a projection method thereof. The handheld projector includes a projection module, a control module, a detecting module and a steering module. The control module drives the projection module to project an image towards an object, which includes a cursor. The detecting module generates a shift signal according to shift of the handheld projector, and transmits the shift signal to the control module. The control modules drives the steering module to rotate the projection module towards an opposite direction of the shift of the handheld projector, so as to make the image projected by the projection module stay in a fixed position of the object. Through the invention, projected image is not easily shocked, and the user only need move the handheld projector when change of the cursor position is desired, and thus operation convenience is greatly enhanced.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable electronic device and an external keyboard thereof. The portable electronic device comprises a first port comprising a circular earphone plug and a keyboard plug. The external keyboard comprises a main body, a keyboard array and a second port. The keyboard array is disposed on the main body and comprises a plurality of scan signal lines. The second port is electrically coupled to the scan signal lines of the keyboard array, and is capable of inserting into the first port of the portable electronic device so as to electrically couple to the keyboard plug. Therefore, the external keyboard can be connected to an earphone jack in a plug-and-play fashion without necessarity to add a new port such that the external keyboard is convenient to use and carry and can be freely rotated in any angle.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a light-guiding structure of a translucent press key including a keypad region including a circular hollow area, and a diffuser and a light source module sequentially disposed below the keypad region. The light source module includes a reflective film and a light generating unit, in which the reflective film has a through hole formed at a position opposite to the middle of the circular hollow area, and the light generating unit is coupled to a control circuit of the keypad region and generates a light source to pass through the through hole. The light-guiding structure of a translucent press key of the present invention has the advantages of a low cost and highly uniform light distribution.

The antenna spring structure includes an antenna spring provided with an elastic arm and a protruding portion coupled to the elastic arm, a casing having at least one opening and pivotally coupled to an end of the casing; a cover disposed on the antenna spring and having a first positioning groove and a second positioning groove formed on the protruding portion and disposed with an interval apart, a circuit board disposed inside the casing, and at least one conductive component installed on the circuit board and corresponding to at least one opening, and passed through the at least one opening and exposed from the casing. When the antenna spring is switched from a first position to a second position, the at least one conductive component presses the antenna spring.

Abstract: A holding device for mobile products includes a first holding frame and a second holding frame, and the first holding frame is provided for holding a first mobile product and the second holding frame is provided for holding a second mobile product. The first holding frame and the second holding frame are configured to be electrically connected by a wire connection or a wireless connection. When the first holding frame and the second holding frame are holding the first and second mobile products respectively, the mobile products can be electrically connected through the first holding frame and the second holding frame to add functionality to each of the mobile products.

Abstract: A method for controlling video frame stream at a transmitting end of video phone is provided. The method predetermines whether receiving the current frame will cause delay based on a situation of transmitting and compression of the previous video frames. If the result of the predetermination is yes, the current video frame is skipped; if the result of the predetermination is no, the follow-up compression, multiplexing and transmitting of the current video frame are performed.

Abstract: An input method applicable for inputting into an electronic device, which includes the steps of capturing a lip motion of a person; receiving an image of the lip motion; encoding the lip motion image to obtain a lip motion code; comparing the lip motion code with a plurality of standard lip motion codes to obtain a first text result matching the lip motion code; and displaying the first text result on the electronic device if the first text result is obtained. If the first text result is not obtained, the method may further include activating an auxiliary analyzing mode for the electronic device for recognizing a facial expression, a hand gesture, or an audio signal to be inputted. The input method can diversify input methods for the electronic device.

Abstract: A movable touch device and an electronic device thereof are disclosed. The movable touch device comprises a casing having an external and an opposite internal surfaces; a first conductive layer with a first touch sensor circuit on the external surface of the casing, a second conductive layer with a second touch sensor circuit on the internal surface of the casing, and a communication interface unit installed on the casing for electrically coupling the first and second conductive layers to the electronic device. The movable touch device can be turned over or aligned in parallel to the back of the electronic device. The movable touch device and the display screen can be combined or separated, so that the transmittance of the screen will not be affected, and the electronic device can be removed, so as to provide a convenient carry.

Abstract: A system for automatically adjusting sound effects and a method thereof. The system includes a communication module, a playing module, an input module for receiving a choice among a plurality of songs made by a user, and a processing module configured to search a storage module for one of sets of sound effects parameters corresponding to the choice made by the user. If the set of sound effects parameters corresponding to the choice made by the user is not found, the processing module is then configured to obtain the set of sound effects parameters from a plurality of servers through a communication module. The playing module is configured to adjust a playing mode according to the set of sound effects parameters found or obtained by the processing module, and to play the song of choice in the playing mode.

Abstract: A mobile device capable of automatically switching its operation modes includes a storage module, a control module, a display module and an electrical connector. The storage module is configured to store data of icons controllable to execute an application or function. The control module is configured to direct the data of at least one icon from the storage module to be transmitted to the display module for displaying the icon on a screen. When the control module detects that the electrical connector is electrically coupled to an electronic device, the control module is configured to adjust configuration of the at least one icon, with the adjusted configuration to be automatically displayed on the screen to mark a new operation mode of the mobile device. The configuration of the icon may be adjusted in size, one or more pixels, position, or quantity of the icon.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a mark antenna used for receiving and transmitting a wireless signal. The mark antenna comprises a ground point, a feed point and a radiation part connecting to the ground point and the feed point, and particularly the radiation part is an identification mark, such that the appearance of the radiation part can provide identification information. With the light, thin, short and compact design concept, the mark antenna can be exposed to prevent the antenna from being compressed due to the small disposed area and overcome the difficulty of designing the antenna or a poor communication quality caused by the low performance of the antenna. In the present invention, the antenna is designed as a logo directly, such that the antenna can achieve the functions of identifying the appearance as well as transmitting and receiving the wireless signals.

Abstract: A distance detection system and method for use in a hand-held electronic device is described. The distance detection system comprises an input unit used to input at least one instruction; at least one processing device having a timing element and a calculating element; at least one signal device; and an air inspecting unit. The signal device is used to transmit a signal to a detecting object in response to the instruction, and to receive a response signal from the detecting object. The timing element is used to measure an interval between transmitting the signal and receiving the response signal. The air inspecting unit is used to detect a condition of air between the hand-held electronic device and the detecting object. The data of the detected air condition can be converted into a parameter to calculate distance data corresponding to a distance from both the parameter and the measured interval.

Abstract: A method of searching an expected image in an electronic apparatus comprises the steps of inputting a hand drawing of the expected image into the electronic apparatus; determining whether or not a text description for partially characterizing the expected image is inputted; identifying and searching the expected image in the electronic apparatus according to the hand drawing if the text description is not inputted, or selecting a text label from the text description and interpreting the selected text label by the electronic apparatus if the text description is inputted; and searching a database in the electronic apparatus according to the text label, and fetching the expected image from the database if the value of the image item matches the text label. The hand drawing and/or text label inputted from a mobile phone screen are provided for arranging and searching pictures or images in the database efficiently.
