Patent number: 4434466Abstract: An apparatus for controlling the access of a plurality of microprocessors at a data line. The microprocessors are connected by interface components or blocks, logic switching circuits and bus drivers with two lines or conductors. An access request or demand of a processor initiates a signal change at the first line. This signal change causes the transformation of data which is specific to the processor into a delay or a priority signal, upon the occurrence of which there is accomplished a signal change of the second line. As a function thereof there appears at an input of the interface component a signal change which is indicative of the availability of the data line. Upon simultaneous occurrence of access requests or demands of a number of processors the signal change of the second line is brought about by that processor whose priority signal possesses the smallest delay.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 1981Date of Patent: February 28, 1984Assignee: Inventio AGInventors: Paul Friedli, Hans G. Patent number: 4411337Abstract: With this group control the allocation of elevator cabins or cars to existing storey or floor calls should be timewise optimized and newly arriving storey calls should be immediately allocated. A computer device provided for each elevator computates at each landing or storey, irrespective of whether or not there is present a storey or landing call, from the distance between the storey and the cabin position indicated by a selector, the intermediate cabin stops to be expected within this distance and the momentary cabin load a sum proportional to the time losses of waiting passengers. In this way the cabin load prevailing at the computation time point is corrected such that the expected number of passengers entering and exiting the cabin, derived from the previously ascertained number of entering and exiting passengers, is taken into account for the future intermediate cabin stops.Type: GrantFiled: July 9, 1981Date of Patent: October 25, 1983Assignee: Inventio AGInventors: Joris Schroder, Hans Bosshard, Jiri Kiml, Miroslav Kostka, Walter Zimmermann

Patent number: 4337848Abstract: With this start-up control apparatus it is intended to reduce the starting jerk at elevators resulting from superimposing the motor cut-on moment and load moment and to improve the starting comfort of the elevator passengers. The brake magnet of the electromechanical holding brake of the elevator is connected for this purpose with a regulation device, by means of which there can be linearly decreasingly controlled the braking force during the elevator's start-up, so that there can be obtained a linearly ascending start-up moment of the drive. The linear decrease of the braking force first appears following decay of the cut-on moment peak of the drive motor. This can be obtained by optimum correlation of the start-up time point of a reference value transmitter of the regulation device and the drive motor as well as the proportional part (P-part) of the reference value transmitter, whose transfer function approximately corresponds to the time behavior of a PI-regulator.Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 1981Date of Patent: July 6, 1982Assignee: Inventio AGInventor: Gerhard Kindler

Patent number: 4306637Abstract: A shoe or friction brake having the brake levers thereof connected both at the pivotably mounted end and also at the end driven by a brake spring mutually independently of one another at the brake housing. The pivotably mounted end is connected with the brake housing by elements which have a resilient or spring action perpendicular to the direction of action of the brake spring. These resilient elements are in the form of plate springs and/or a leaf or blade spring. The bearing means for each brake lever is arranged between the plate springs. Each brake lever has operatively associated therewith a choke or reactance coil, and the choke yoke or the like is arranged at the bearing means and the choke core at the brake housing. With the brake levers located in their braking position the latter, when subjected to load, are movable perpendicular to the direction of action of the brake springs, so that the air gaps of the choke coils can be reduced or increased in size, as the case may be.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 1979Date of Patent: December 22, 1981Assignee: Inventio AGInventors: Emil Keiser, Ljudevit Tomse, Josef Vertesy

Patent number: 4298100Abstract: A switching apparatus operatively associated with each elevator of an elevator group operated by means of a collective control and individual travel control serves the purpose, for instance in hospitals, of switching one or more elevators from one control mode to the other control mode. The switching apparatus comprises four series connected switching stages formed of digital logic or switching elements. By activating one of the key switches of the first switching stage there is initiated the switching operation to the relevant other operating mode, and there are generated signals which eliminate the elevator which is to be switched over from the storey call allocation. Upon arrival of an input information or signal which signals the operating state "free" of the elevator which is to be switched over, there is accomplished allocation to the desired operating mode by freeing the correlated door control by means of output signals produced in the second switching stage.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 1979Date of Patent: November 3, 1981Assignee: Inventio AGInventors: Hans G.
