  • Publication number: 20040095377
Abstract: Methods, systems, and means for receiving video input from a source device, marking reference points within the video input stream to demarcate video segments, assigning reference information to the video segments, storing the video input stream with the associated reference points and reference information in a video storage device, and analyzing video segments stored in the video storage device based upon the assigned reference information. Demarcating video segments from a video input stream enables more efficient searching for desired video segments. Assigning reference information to a demarcated video segment enables more efficient searching by providing a user with the ability to conglomerate similar video segments by performing a single search.

  • Publication number: 20030062283
Abstract: A file case includes a body member for storing files therein in vertical position, a top end of the body member being opened; and a file support member attached to an upper portion of the body member and adapted to support the files such that hooks provided on upper portions of the files are hooked on the file support member. The file support member is pivotably or removably attached to the body member such that, through the file support member being pivoted outward or removed, an opening of the opened top end of the body member is expanded so as to allow a body member of another file case to be inserted into the body member. While the file support member is attached in place to the body member, a cover member is pivotably or removably attached to the body member from above.

  • Patent number: 6116160
Abstract: A printer drum includes a leading edge assembly for holding a first end of a substrate, and a trailing edge assembly for holding a second end of the substrate. The leading edge assembly includes a first plurality of interconnected disks, and the trailing edge assembly includes a second plurality of interconnected disks. The disks of the two assemblies are interleaved such that the disks of the trailing edge assembly are rotatable relative to the disks of the leading edge assembly about the axis of rotation of the drum. A balancing disk is interleaved with the disks. A leading edge clamp interconnects the first plurality of disks, and a trailing edge clamp interconnects the second plurality of disks. A plurality of registration pins of the leading edge clamp selectively engage a substrate held by the clamp.

  • Patent number: 5160938
Abstract: Calibration apparatus for an ink jet printer of the type having a rotary drum which has a cylindrical surface and which rotates about an axis, and a print head which is movable parallel to that axis in an axial direction along the drum surface and between a head home position and a position beyond one end of the drum, the head projecting an ink jet comprised of ink droplets towards the drum surface. The apparatus comprises a needle-like ink jet sensor having a needle tip positioned at a selected distance in the axial direction beyond the one end of the drum and with its axis perpendicular to the drum axis. The sensor is movable in the direction of its axis between a sensor home position at a selected location relative to the drum and a position in which the sensor can intercept the ink jet and the sensor produces a sensor signal when it does intercept the ink jet.

  • Patent number: 5144548
Abstract: A computer routing band switcher is controlled by icons on a display screen which are programmable to represent any one of a number of devices, which can have multiple inputs and outputs, connected to a cross-point switching matrix. Routing is implemented by selection through use of a touch screen or a mouse of an icon representing a desired source device followed by one or more icons representing desired destination devices. In response to inputs through use of the icons, the computer generates control signals for the switching matrix which, instead of cables, utilizes printed circuit boards with a high density pattern of input and output signal tracks separated by shielding tracks and selectively interconnected by a plurality of modular cross-point switching units arranged together with the output tracks in groups, with only one unit in each group connected to any one input track, but with all of the units in each group connected to all of the output tracks.
