Abstract: A connector which is provided with connector terminals which include a plurality of terminals that are configured to be in contact with a connection target and achieves reliable contact with the connection target while preventing the plurality of terminals from being in contact with each other when the plurality of terminals come into contact with the connection target and are displaced by the connection target is provided. A connector includes a housing and a connector terminal, and the connector terminal includes a front terminal including a contact portion that comes into contact with a plug connector inserted from an insertion port of the housing and an elastic arm that supports the contact portion in a displaceable manner; and a rear terminal including a contact portion that comes into contact with the plug connector subsequent to the contact portion of the front terminal and an elastic arm.

Abstract: A socket connector includes a housing mounted on a substrate, a plurality of socket terminals 6 that is held by the housing. The plurality of socket terminals is, on one end side thereof, conductively connected to a single connection pad provided in a circuit pattern of the substrate, and is, on the other end side thereof, conductively connected to a plug terminal that is to be a connection mate. Each of the socket terminals includes a substrate connection portion that is fixed to a connection pad, a contact portion that comes into conductive contact with a substrate, and a connection piece portion that connects the contact portion and the substrate connection portion to each other. The connection piece portion including a branched pieces forming conductive paths E that connect, in a parallel manner, the contact portion and the substrate connection portion splits an electric current in a parallel manner.

Abstract: A connector includes a lock lever that is fastened to a flat conductor and that maintains electrical connection between a terminal and the flat conductor. The lock lever includes a fastening portion that, in an interior of a fitting chamber, is fastened to the flat conductor that electrically contacts the terminal, and prevents removal of the flat conductor; an elastic portion that displaces the fastening portion in directions towards and away from the flat conductor; and an operation portion that includes a flat plate portion and a connecting portion, the flat plate portion extending along a front wall, the connecting portion extending from the flat plate portion in the direction away from the flat conductor and connected to the elastic portion. The flat plate portion is pushed along an insertion direction of the flat conductor.

Abstract: In a plug connector including a first connection terminal and a second connection terminal which come into conductive contact with a socket connector and a relay terminal which comes into contact with the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal, the relay terminal includes a switch contact piece which comes into contact with the first connection terminal. Further, the switch contact piece includes a short circuit contact which comes into contact with the first connection terminal and an open contact which is displaced when coming into contact with the socket connector. The short circuit contact is displaced with displacement of the open contact in a direction away from the first connection terminal so as to switch the short circuit connection between the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal and the conductive connection between the first connection terminal and the socket connector in a reliable manner.

Abstract: A terminal used in a connector includes a base portion that is retained in a housing, and a front terminal and a rear terminal that extend from the base portion. A front terminal is provided with a front contact portion that comes in contact with a mating terminal through a flat plate surface of the front contact portion, and a rear terminal is provided with a rear contact portion that comes in contact with a terminal of a mating connector through a flat plate surface of the rear contact portion. The front contact portion and the rear contact portion are arranged at the same position in a width direction.

Abstract: A housing of a linear conductor connection terminal is provided with a first contact point portion having a recessed portion composed of a metal plate and opening inwardly of the housing. The recessed portion allows insertion of a linear conductor inserted into the housing from an insertion port. The housing is further provided with a second contact point portion that supports contact between the linear conductor and the first contact point portion. This allows the linear conductor to reliably conductively contact the first contact point portion and the second contact point portion.

Abstract: A plug connector electrically connected to a socket connector includes a movable housing engaged with the socket connector; a fixed housing secured to a first substrate; and a plug terminal having a plug contact portion in electrical contact with the socket connector engaged with the movable housing, and a movable part configured to support the fixed housing such that the fixed housing can be displaced with respect to the movable housing in engaging and disengaging directions of the socket connector with respect to the movable housing, while maintaining the contact of the plug contact portion with the socket connector.
