Abstract: A memory circuit, including a memory array (such as a cross-point array), may include circuit elements that may function both as selection elements/drivers and de-selection elements/drivers. A selection/de-selection driver may be used to provide both a selection function as well as an operation function. The operation function may include providing sufficient currents and voltages for WRITE and/or READ operations in the memory array. When the de-selection path is used for providing the operation function, highly efficient cross-point implementations can be achieved. The operation function may be accomplished by circuit manipulation of a de-selection supply and/or de-selection elements.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a boosted engine system having an engine arranged to receive boosted air from a variable geometry turbocharger and an electrically powered compressor arranged in parallel with the turbocharger. During temporary high torque demands above a predefined level, the electrically powered compressor may be used to supplement the flow of boosted air from the turbocharger. Additionally, a recirculation circuit around the electrically powered compressor may be provided to build up pressure in the electrically powered compressor before it is connected to the engine so as to minimize fluctuations in engine boost pressure upon start-up of the electrically powered compressor.

Abstract: An image and data application service provider system provides a way of remotely viewing and manipulating images and data for diagnostic and visualization purposes by users unconstrained by geography. Images and data are stored on one or more servers running application service provider software along with meta-data such as access control information, origin of information and references to related data. A set of data with related information is sent as an encrypted stream to a viewing station running client software in a secure execution environment that is logically independent of the viewing station's operating system.
Abstract: A base station for selecting a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and a total block size (TBS) for a UE is provided. The base station includes a processor and memory storing instructions. The instructions are executable to map a nominal MCS to a TBS index and determine a nominal TBS per resource block value based on the TBS index. The instructions are also executable to determine a target TBS based on the nominal TBS per resource block value and a number of resource blocks allocated to the UE. The instructions are also executable to determine a customized TBS, from a plurality of predefined TBSs, that is closest to the target TBS. The instructions are also executable to map the customized TBS to a customized MCS. The instructions are also executable to use the customized TBS and the customized MCS to transmit to the UE during a downlink transmission time interval.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to improved catalysts that provide for reduced product contaminants, related methods and improved reaction products. It more specifically relates to improved direct fuel production and redox catalysts that provide for reduced levels of certain oxygenated contaminants, methods related to the use of those catalysts, and hydrocarbon fuel or fuel-related products that have improved characteristics. In one aspect, the present invention is directed to a method of converting one or more carbon-containing feedstocks into one or more hydrocarbon liquid fuels. The method includes the steps of: converting the one or more carbon-containing feedstocks into syngas; and, converting the syngas to one or more hydrocarbons (including liquid fuels) and a water fraction. The water fraction comprises less than 500 ppm of one or more carboxylic acids.
