  • Patent number: 11312372
Abstract: A system, comprising a computer that includes a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to input second vehicle sensor data received via one or more of vehicle-to-vehicle (V-to-V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V-to-I) networking into a generative query neural network (GQN) trained to generate second vehicle viewpoint data and predict a path for a second vehicle based on the second vehicle viewpoint data with a reinforcement learning deep neural network (RLDNN). The computer can be further programmed to obtain a confidence for the predicted second vehicle path from a Bayesian framework applied to the RLDNN and determine a first vehicle path based on the predicted second vehicle path and the confidence.

  • Patent number: 11316672
Abstract: A server can record a device static public key (Sd) and a server static private key (ss). The server can receive a message with (i) a device ephemeral public key (Ed) and (ii) a ciphertext encrypted with key K1. The server can (i) conduct an EC point addition operation on Sd and Ed and (ii) send the resulting point/secret X0 to a key server. The key server can (i) perform a first elliptic curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) key exchange using X0 and a network static private key to derive a point/secret X1, and (ii) send X1 to the server. The server can conduct a second ECDH key exchange using the server static private key and point X0 to derive point X2. The server can conduct an EC point addition on X1 and X2 to derive X3. The server can derive K1 using X3 and decrypt the ciphertext.

  • Patent number: 11315541
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include applying, via a sound reproduction system, sound cancellation that reduces an amplitude of various sound signals. The method further includes identifying, among the sound signals, an external sound whose amplitude is to be reduced by the sound cancellation. The method then includes analyzing the identified external sound to determine whether the identified external sound is to be made audible to a user and, upon determining that the external sound is to be made audible to the user, the method includes modifying the sound cancellation so that the identified external sound is made audible to the user. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11317188
Abstract: An audio system for providing content to a user. The system includes a first and a second transducer assembly of a plurality of transducer assemblies, an acoustic sensor, and a controller. The first transducer assembly couples to a portion of an auricle of the user's ear and vibrates over a first range of frequencies based on a first set of audio instructions. The vibration causes the portion of the ear to create a first range of acoustic pressure waves. The second transducer assembly is configured to vibrate over a second range of frequencies to produce a second range of acoustic pressure waves based on a second set of audio instructions. The acoustic sensor detects acoustic pressure waves at an entrance of the ear. The controller generates the audio instructions based on audio content to be provided to the user and the detected acoustic pressure waves from the acoustic sensor.

  • Patent number: 11314566
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes creating, by a computing device, an inter process communication (IPC) channel for communication from a producer process to a consumer process. The IPC channel includes a message buffer mapped to a first virtual address space of a kernel of an operating system and to a second virtual address space of the consumer process in a user space of the operating system. A sender handle for the message buffer is sent to the producer process. The kernel receives a request, which includes the sender handle, to send a message from the producer process to the consumer process through the IPC channel. Responsive to a determination that the request is permitted, the kernel writes the message to the message buffer using the sender handle, such that message written in the message buffer is accessible to the consumer process through the second address space.

  • Patent number: 11316446
Abstract: An electrostatic energy harvester broadly comprises an electrical energy storage component, an electrical energy transfer stage, first and second variable capacitors, and a switching control module. The electrical energy transfer stage includes diode-connected transistors and dictates electrical energy transfer between the electrical energy storage component and the variable capacitors. The switching control module timely switches between the first and second variable capacitors according to a state machine. Subsequent electrical energy investments from the electrical energy storage component are less than an initial electrical energy investment due to remnant electrical energy remaining at the previously active one of the first and second variable capacitors from previous electrical energy harvesting.

  • Patent number: 11311683
Abstract: A self-retracting syringe has an injection assembly and a retraction assembly. The injection assembly has a housing, a spring rest, and a spring that is restrained initially in compression between the housing and the spring rest. A plunger rod is disposed inside the coil of the spring. A coupler in contact with the spring rest and the plunger rod releasably couples the plunger rod to the spring rest. When a latch is released, the plunger rod moves distally to urge a seal forward, which seal movement causes a hypodermic needle to extend and a medicament to be expelled through the hypodermic needle. A retraction assembly returns the hypodermic needle into the syringe body after the medicament is expelled. Embodiments of retraction assembly provide a port through which fluid may be introduced into the syringe through said hypodermic needle. Methods for filling the syringe are also described.

  • Patent number: 11315025
Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to forecast events that match a criterion. Input is received and includes an event set and a criterion. The event set includes events and each of the events is a record with features. Each feature is an instance of a feature type (FT) and feature value (FV) combination. The criterion is a logical statement that specifies a criterion FT, a criterion FV, and an operator. The event set is partitioned and a partition BitSet is built for each partition. Each partition length of each partition BitSet is based on a number of the events. Based on the partition BitSets, a partition FT-FV count is created. For each partition, a partition FT criterion BitSet is created and a partition Criterion BitSet is computed based thereon. The forecast is then computed based on the partition Criterion BitSet.
