Abstract: Described are cementitious reagent materials produced from globally abundant inorganic feedstocks. Also described are methods for the manufacture of such cementitious reagent materials and forming the reagent materials as microspheroidal glassy particles. Also described are apparatuses, systems and methods for the thermochemical production of glassy cementitious reagents with spheroidal morphology. The apparatuses, systems and methods make use of an in-flight melting/quenching technology such that solid particles are flown in suspension, melted in suspension, and then quenched in suspension. The cementitious reagents can be used in concrete to substantially reduce the CO2 emission associated with cement production.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a polycaprolactone microsphere containing vitamin C, a filler including the same and a preparation method therefor. Provided is a polycaprolactone microsphere filler obtained by encapsulating vitamin C in polycaprolactone microspheres, which, when injected into a living body, exhibits a rapid collagen formation effect as well as a high tissue restoration property and maintains the effects for a long period of time, thereby showing excellent restoration or volume expansion or wrinkle improvement properties of soft tissues such as cheeks, breasts, nose, lips, and buttocks and reducing wrinkles.

Abstract: A system for determining the position and orientation of a landing area relative to an approaching vehicle is disclosed. The landing area has a plurality of target items disposed proximate to the landing area at known locations. The system includes a sensor on which is formed images of target items that are within a Field of View (FOV) of the sensor, a processor configured to receive the positions of the target items on the sensor, and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory stores the locations of the target items relative to the landing area and instructions that, when loaded into the processor and executed, cause the processor to determine a position and an orientation of the landing area relative to the vehicle based in part on the information received from the sensor and the locations of the target items.
