  • Publication number: 20230051672
Abstract: A memory circuit includes an array of memory cells arranged with first word lines connected to a first sub-array storing less significant bits of data and second word lines connected to a second sub-array storing more significant bits of data. A row decoder circuit coupled to the first and second word lines generates word line signals. A word line gating circuit is configured to selectively gate passage of the word line signals to the second word lines for the second sub-array in response to assertion of a maximum value signal. A data modification circuit performs a mathematical operation on data read from the array of memory cells, and asserts the maximum value signal if the mathematical operation performed on the less significant bits of data from the first sub-array produces a maximum data value.

  • Patent number: 11581345
Abstract: An image sensor includes a pixel with a photosensitive region accommodated within a semiconductor substrate and a MOS capacitive element with a conducting electrode electrically isolated by a dielectric layer. The dielectric layer forms an interface with both the photosensitive region and the semiconductor substrate, the interface of the dielectric layer including charge traps. A control circuit biases the electrode of the MOS capacitive element with a charge pumping signal designed to generate an alternation of successive inversion regimes and accumulation regimes in the photosensitive region. The charge pumping signal produces recombinations of photogenerated charges in the charge traps of the interface of the dielectric layer and the generation of a substrate current to empty recombined photogenerated charges.

  • Patent number: 11576532
Abstract: A bathtub platform insert is described herein (e.g., a footrest, backrest, or table). For example, a bathtub footrest insert herein allows a bather to adjust the length of the “sitting portion” of the bathtub, by securely inserting the bathtub footrest to establish a customizable distance between a backrest of the bathtub to the footrest, such that a bather of shorter height may comfortably stay above the water while soaking in a bathtub. In one embodiment, an example bathtub platform insert herein may comprise: a support surface; adjustable securing members extending outwardly widthwise from the support surface; and gripping end pieces on each end of the adjustable securing members; wherein the adjustable securing members are adjustable to extend an overall width of the bathtub platform insert between opposing pairs of gripping end pieces to secure the opposing pairs of gripping end pieces against a wall of a bathtub.

  • Patent number: 11571764
Abstract: A weld overlay machine assembly includes a carriage to support a hinged index bar and a wire feed assembly. The index bar has an auto height control unit and an index assembly to locate the position of a weld torch relative to the index bar. The assembly is configured to adjust the index bar to interior contours of the vessel while applying a layer of overlay material to a surface therein. The assembly runs along a track in the interior of the vessel. The assembly is configured to transition from sides of the vessel to that of the top or bottom domes wherein the curve of the domes are perpendicular to that of the radial sides. This transition is done without the need to add or remove components to the assembly. This is accomplished by providing the pivoting of the index bar relative to the track.

  • Patent number: 11575306
Abstract: A method for increasing performance of a voltage-buck switched-mode voltage regulator includes generating a first pulse-width modulation signal based on a clock signal, decreasing a frequency of the clock signal to form a modified clock signal, passing the modified clock signal to a digital modulation circuit as a regulated clock signal; and generating a second pulse-width modulation signal based on the regulated clock signal using the digital modulation circuit. The first pulse-width modulation signal includes a period T1 and an off duration D2 corresponding to a first duty cycle. The off duration D2 is an intrinsic pulse-width modulation signal generation latency. The second pulse-width modulation signal includes a period T2 and the off duration D2. The decreased frequency of the modified clock signal causes T2 to be greater than T1 such that a second duty cycle of the second pulse-width modulation signal is increased relative to the first duty cycle.
