Abstract: Under the present invention an identifier for a computer system undergoing an IT migration is extracted from a pertinent field the record. Thereafter, a mapping table is consulted. The mapping table generally contains entries that associate computer system identifiers with identifiers of hardware components that have been installed (or are to be installed) in the computer systems. Using the computer system identifier extracted from the record, an associated hardware component identifier is determined from the mapping table, and automatically populated into a corresponding field (e.g., a hardware component field) of the record. Thus, the present invention avoids having to manually populate the hardware component identifier into the record.

Abstract: An apertured vacuum formed film for use as a topsheet in an absorbent article has raised lands in a stroking direction to impart a silky tactile impression. The stroking direction lands are raised between 15? and 145? relative to the transverse lands. The stroking direction lands may also include a microtexture to enhance the silky tactile impression. Also, the apertures may form boat shape cells to enhance the silky tactile impression.

A hard mask structure is formed on at least one surface of the material to be patterned. The hard mask structure is configured to have a base, proximate to the material, and a top opposite the base. The base has one or more lateral dimensions that are greater than one or more lateral dimensions of the top of the hard mask structure, such that at least one portion of the base extends out laterally a substantial distance beyond the top. The top of the hard mask structure is at a greater vertical distance from the material being etched than the base. The material is etched.

Abstract: (1) In a gas-phase catalytic oxidation process for conducting gas-phase catalytic oxidation reaction using a fixed bed multipipe type reactor having reaction tubes filled with a catalyst while feeding a reaction raw gas thereinto, the catalyst is filled in each of the reaction tubes of the fixed bed multipipe type reactor to form two or more catalyst layers having different catalytic activities from each other in a direction of the oxidation reaction, and the catalyst layer disposed nearest to a reaction raw gas inlet of the reaction tube has a higher catalytic activity than that of the next catalyst layer adjacent thereto, or (2) in a process for producing (meth)acrolein or (meth)acrylic acid by subjecting a raw material of the (meth)acrolein or (meth)acrylic acid, and molecular oxygen or a molecular oxygen-containing gas to gas-phase catalytic oxidation reaction using a fixed bed multipipe type reactor having two or more catalyst layers in an axial direction of each of reaction tubes provided in the reactor
Abstract: A mechanism is provided for converting after image data into a delta level change. An after image business graph is first transformed into a generic after image business graph. Another transformation is performed transforming the generic after image business graph into a second after image business graph, using delta information from another enterprise information system is used to create a delta business graph. A final transformation is performed to convert the delta business graph into a generic delta business graph.

Abstract: A cosmetic composition effective in skin lightening or skin rejuvenation is provided. The cosmetic composition is characterized by containing sodium ions, potassium ions, calcium ions, magnesium ions, chlorine ions and HCO3 ions in a molar concentration proportion equal to that in the extracellular fluid of mammals and further containing glucose in a concentrate 0,05 to 0.15 mol/L and sodium glutamate in a concentration of 0.01 to 0.03 mol/L.
Abstract: Method and apparatus, in a data processing system that uses JMX as a mechanism for managing internal components, for processing JMX requests to a managed group that includes a plurality of group members. When a JMX request is transmitted to a first member of a group comprising a plurality of group members, a determination is made if the first member is in an active state capable of processing the request. If the first member is not in an active state, the JMX request is forwarded to a currently active member of the plurality of members for processing the request. The invention thus permits users to communicate with the group via JMX without knowing which member of the group is active at any particular time.

Abstract: A system and method for provide a stable gain from an adaptive gain control device in a signal path. An echo canceller is also located in the signal path, and is used to provide performance information regarding losses in the signal. This performance information is fed to the automatic gain control device via a connection. The automatic gain control device thereafter uses the performance information to determine a maximum gain that might be provided based upon losses cause by echo conditions. The gain however is limited in order to provide for a stable system. The performance information includes a loss rate that includes a combination of the echo return loss and the echo return loss enhancement.
Abstract: A method and system for obtaining a network address stored in a peripheral device, and accessing a remote device at the network address to obtain information related to the peripheral device. When the peripheral device is connected to a host computer, the stored network address is read by the host computer. The network address is preferably determined by the host computer when a peripheral device, such as a USB device, is initially connected to the host device, or when the host device with a newly connected USB is energized. The network address is then used by the host device to communicate with a remote device so that information pertaining to the peripheral device, such as a device driver for the peripheral device, can be accessed by the host device at the remote device.
Abstract: An apparatus and method to facilitate validation and/or test of serial interfaces by analyzing error event types based at least in part on a code-stamp, compare engine logic and a memory for error capture.
Abstract: Aspects of the invention provide a system and method for communicating in a hybrid wired/wireless local area network. A method for communicating in a hybrid wired/wireless local area network may include sending a first messaging protocol message between a first switch and a first access point, and/or the first switch and a second switch. The first, second, and a third messaging protocol message may be used to control the first switch, the second switch, a first access point, a second access point, and one or more access devices.
Abstract: Circuits and methods to correct the load sharing in multiphase switching regulators are provided. Using these systems and methods, the input capacitor voltage signal can be sampled and used for current sensing of the regulator's stages. Differences in the amount of output current for a converter stage can then be determined. Corrections needed to equalize the output current of the converter stages can then be determined and carried out.
