Abstract: System, method, and computer program product to perform an operation, the operation comprising capturing, at one or more peering routers, parameters for a plurality of data packets sent by a client device and specifying a destination network address, identifying which peering router captured the parameters for each of the plurality of data packets, determining, based on the identified peering routers, a first peering router nearest to the client, relative to the other peering routers, identifying a first content cache, of a plurality of content caches in a content distribution network, nearest to the first peering router, and fulfilling a content request from the client device using content stored on the first content cache.
Abstract: Systems and methods for a device-to-device communications mode are described. When two user equipment are within proximity of each other and other requirements are met, the user equipment are configured by their associated nodes to enter a device-to-device communication mode. In that mode, the user equipment receives messages from the other user equipment without the messages traversing the core network between their associated nodes.

Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a processor configured to calculate a noise figure of an optical amplifier for a plurality of selected wavelength channels in a partial-fill scenario that accounts for channel loading. The noise figure is calculated using a plurality of corresponding noise figure correction values at a plurality of wavelengths based on an effective number of channels.
Abstract: Techniques are provided for optimizing multicast routing in a network. At a router device, a message is sent to one or more physical devices. The message is configured to solicit a response indicating a network assignment for each of the physical devices. A response message is received from each of the physical devices. The response message comprises network assignment information for each of the physical devices. For each of the physical devices, the network assignment information is translated into a segment identifier. The segment identifier is distributed to other router devices in the network.
Abstract: A wireless access control system may include a remote access wireless device that includes a magnetic sensor and a remote controller coupled to remote wireless communications circuitry and the magnetic sensor. The system may also include a lock assembly for a door that includes a magnetic field generator and a lock controller coupled to a lock, lock wireless communications circuitry, and the magnetic field generator. The lock controller may communicate a magnetic field characteristic with the remote wireless communications circuitry, and cooperate with the magnetic field generator to generate a magnetic field based upon the magnetic field characteristic. The remote controller may cooperate with the magnetic sensor to sense the magnetic field, compare the sensed magnetic field to the magnetic field characteristic, and communicate to enable lock unlocking when the sensed magnetic field has a sensed magnetic field characteristic that matches the magnetic field characteristic.
Abstract: Diesel oxidation ZPGM catalyst systems using Y1-x AgxMnO3 perovskite are disclosed. The ZPGM catalyst system compositions may include Y1-x AgxMnO3 perovskite in impregnation component and at least one carrier material oxide in washcoat. The ZPGM catalyst system compositions may also include Y1-x AgxMnO3 perovskite co-precipitated in a carrier material oxide as washcoat. The catalyst activity is measured with an inlet gas mixture containing diesel exhaust composition and characterized according to performance in NO oxidation, NO2 production, NO storage capability and diesel oxidation applications.
Abstract: In some implementations, network traffic can be routed along equal cost paths based on weights assigned to each path. For example, weighted equal cost multipath routing can be implemented by assigning weights to each equal cost path (e.g., uplink, next hop node) to a destination device. When the network device receives a packet, the network device can generate a key (e.g., a random value, a hash value based on packet data, a value between 0 and n, etc.). The key can be used to select an uplink or path upon which to forward the packet. A key can be generated for a packet flow or flowlet. Each flow can be associated with the same key so that each packet in a flow will be forwarded along the same path. Each flowlet can be forwarded along a different uplink.
Abstract: A semiconductor structure, such as a group III nitride-based semiconductor structure is provided. The semiconductor structure includes a cavity containing semiconductor layer. The cavity containing semiconductor layer can have a thickness greater than two monolayers and a multiple cavities. The cavities can have a characteristic size of at least one nanometer and a characteristic separation of at least five nanometers.

Abstract: Embodiments are provided for resolving, at a user equipment (UE), unnecessary frequent consecutive back and forth reselections between the same two or more network cells. In an embodiment method, upon detecting predefined criteria indicating reaching a threshold frequency of reselections between the same cells, the UE switches to a defined mobility state reducing the frequency of reselections between the same cells. In accordance with the defined mobility state, the method increases a waiting time for cell reselection. The predefined criteria includes detecting the UE in a defined Static-idle state, detecting a serving cell of the UE and a strongest neighbor cell having approximately equal signal quality for a defined duration or a defined number of consecutive measurements, and detecting a number of consecutive reselections between the same cells exceeding a defined minimum threshold.
Abstract: Augmented reality can be used to display previously captured images on a viewfinder of a camera as the camera's active position nears a position from which the picture was originally taken. A histogram file may associate the original image with positional information of the camera when the image was captured. When the cameras active position nears those coordinates, a transparent version of the digital image is displayed on the viewfinder of the camera. The positional information may include a spatial location of the camera (e.g., GPS coordinates, etc.) as well as an orientation of the camera (e.g., yaw, pitch, roll, etc.). Augmented reality can be used to guide the user to configure/re-configure the camera in order to correct (or avoid) an image quality issue/defect when re-taking a picture.

Abstract: Feedback received from users regarding potential problems with an application, service, or other source of electronic content can be configured to include additional information that help triangulate the source of the problem. Content provided by third parties can be combined with content from a primary provider, but the primary provider often will be unable to determine the precise instance of third party content that a user received that might have posed a problem for the user, as may relate to malware or another such issue. By configuring feedback submissions from users to automatically include identifying information, and by logging session data for various users, a content provider can analyze and filter the data to determine likely sources of the problem, and deactivate or otherwise address those sources. Further, the content provider can analyze the information to locate any users likely to have been exposed to the same third party content.
