Abstract: The invention relates to an air-controlled damper which attenuates the motion of movable components. Sealing between the movable components is effected by a separation means which is fixed to the cylinder and the piston in the hollow space of the cylinder.
Abstract: Fastening means for fastening a panel-shaped structural member in a channel of an accommodation member, with the means being positioned in a bore of the structural member and of throughbores provided in the walls of the channel, characterized by the following features
Abstract: Actuation means for actuating a functional part in an automobile by means of a handle portion or the like, whereby at least a portion, e.g. a stripe of an electro luminescence sheet is applied to a surface of said handle portion or adjacent to said handle portion and connected to an electric source.
Abstract: A fastening system comprises a screw including a thread formed on a shank and configured to form a threaded bore in a plug made of a plastic material, and at least one notch formed in the shank between at least two adjacent turns of the thread. The system also comprises a clip including first and second clip bows connected at joined portions thereof. The first and second clip bows further have firs and second through apertures in their central portions which are aligned and sized to define a channel for allowing the shank of the screw to pass through. At least one of the first and second through apertures has an internal thread matching with the thread of the screw. The clip has at least one resilient lug adapted to engage with the at least one notch when the screw is fastened into the internal thread.

Abstract: A fastening assembly for fastening a first member to a second member comprising
at least one threaded fastener having a head at one end thereof, the head having engagement surfaces for a tool, a threaded shank, the other end of the shank having engagement surfaces for a tool,
at least one receiving bore in the first member into which the threaded shank is threaded in a pre-mounted state from one end thereof, with the head being spaced from the associated surface of the first member,
the second member being preferably of thin sheet material and having at least one elongated opening, the opening having a first portion adapted to allow the entrance of head and a smaller portion adapted to accommodate the shank while the head grips behind the edge of the opening.

Abstract: An arrangement for fastening of an assembly part on a carrier part includes at least one fastening screw, a sleeve, and a flexible assembly ring whose inner diameter is smaller than an outer diameter of a sleeve head flange and foot flange and which is arranged between the head flange and foot flange on the sleeve. The assembly part includes a through-bore in the assembly part whose inner diameter is at lest as large as the outer diameter of the foot flange, into which the sleeve is inserted. The lower side of the head flange is indirectly or directly supported on the upper edge region of the through-bore. The inner diameter of the through-bore is dimensioned such that the assembly ring is radially pressed together therein and by way of this clamped in and/or the through-bore comprises an undercut with an inner diameter so that the assembly ring under radial compression and subsequent expansion is pushed through the undercut and by which the assembly ring is retained in the through-bore.
